Sweet Surrender
I made this cake in 1981, but think it is still fun! 11x15 sheet, body is 1/2 egg pan, head is petite doll pan, arms/legs are cut from bell pan. Used real pacifier! It was ICES mag, but don't know which issue. If you do PLEASE I would appreciate it if you would let me know! Thanks and Good Luck, I really appreciate all the generous sharing , and if you enjoy this website as much as I do please consider donating the $1 to help with the vast amount of time spent on it. And no, no one asked me to say this

Ode To The Pool Party!
That's me and my 4 friends that have a pool party each year at one of our friends homes! She was moving and this was our last hoorah! I have found that my homemade fondant is soooo much easier to roll out on drape over a cake while it is still slightly warm. Also the piping gel was easy to make and much cheaper! (Just keep stirring, it does all come together!) The "floater" is held up by sugar cubes under her, and the "hooks" holding the buoys are spagetti painted with extract and silver dust.
