This is the cake that I made for my 3 grand-daughters birthday party
Did this one for a friend and co-worker several years ago. All white Royal roses, stringwork, arches. White cherubs, and angels on the stairs. There were 11 layers of cake in all. That was 1 heavy cake.
This one was made in 1999 when I was taking Course 2.
I honestly don't remember who this one was for.
For a co-worker who was leaving to work in a different part of the company.
This one was for a lady at work who's neighbors were moving. She knew that they would miss the neighborhood.
I liked the way this picture showed the top of this cake. It was a small one that traveled from N. Georgia to Lake Martin in Alabama. I decorated it in a motel room.
This was a small version of a larger one that I did. Both were about 8 years ago. Decorated all white, with white royal roses and buttercream leaves.
I tried to get the color to match a pic of the groom's bike. Oh well, it tasted pretty good.
This was my first time attempting to coat fruit with sugar. It didn't turn out too well. But, the couple were friends and they didn't complain.
I was buying cake boards and boxes AGES ago and a lady asked me to bake a grooms cake for her for that weekend. All she said was chocolate and he liked to fish. I hadn't been decorating long, so this is what I came up with. They liked it anyway.
Carrot cake with Cream cheese frosting for Raed at work when he got married.
This was for my friend Sandi, for her baby shower at work. She had to leave and go to the hospital that afternoon. Tyler was 1 month early.
This was for a lady I used to work with. For her soon to be grand-daughter's baby shower.
This cake might not look like much, but I had such fun decorating this little guy. I think he's adorable. I've made him several more times for different froggy crazy friends.
Cake for 2 guys that I worked with a while back
A friend at work wanted a simple cake for Christmas, so I made her this tree.
This cake was for a co-worker, who is a minister.
I made this cake for a friend's husband so that I could practice a a little. Made this one back in July of 2002.
Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frostingfor my Mom's 80th birthday.
This cake was all chocolate. I really liked that color contrast of the peach roses. I might have combine those colors again.
This cake was for a BIG Florida Gator Fan. I was told that when the cake was cut, the Gator was not touched and threats were made to anyone attempting to harm him. :)
My honey's daughter got married on Saturday and this is the Grooms Cake.
