Never, never again! I made the mistake of letting my daughter look over my shoulder while I browsed horse cake ideas..She saw one that she had to have, a beautiful horse cake (triple c bakery), I doubted I could duplicate it but I tried. She chose the colors to match a neighbors horse. She loved it...I learned I am not that talented!

I hope no one calls the cake cops on me! I ordered an edible image that never showed, I improvised with a paper plate ( cut out and ironed flat) for the Hannah image. My daughter loved it any way.

Flowers For Cassidy

My little one wanted hearts and flowers, she was happy. (easy to please a 3yr old)My first try with fondant. I didn't like the taste(texture) we picked them off and tossed them. :o)

Fishing

This is the 10 minute "cheat " cake. The easiest cake I've ever done and one of my sons favorite. Whipped icing, gummi sharks, chopstick fishing pole, string, cork and decal from sporting goods (a cake with prizes on top LOL), poof, you're done!

This was for my daughters birthday luau. the "beach" is choc buttercream dusted with brown sugar. The pineapples were made using the egg shaped pan. Easy, easy cake , the kids loved it.
