Parents 25Th Wedding Anniversary Cake 1
Full picture of the cake. This is my first time doing a tiered cake! I think it came out pretty well! It was my first time doing the swags as well. I found out something very important...you really MUST have supports under these things! Lol! The top tier is a Betty Crocker chocolate gluten free cake for my dad and the bottom is a chocolate cake for us. All bc. *Sorry about the bad shot, my sister took it for me and was having a hard time getting her hand to stay still and the lighting to be righ

Olympic Cookies - 7
Yin and yang cookie. I had leftover dough after cutting everything else out so I just flattened it and baked. So I decided to make a yin and yang cookie with it. I wished I had made a bunch more of these because they were sooooo easy! nfsc and choc. sugar cookies with Antonia74 RI. TFL!

Royal Iced Cookies
These were my first attempt at making royal iced cookies! They turned out so well thanks to you ladies on here! I have been reading the forums to find out the best icing to use and how to do the cookies properly. I used "Antonia74 icing" (Wow! it was so easy to make and turned out beautifully!) and the "No Fail Sugar Cookies" recipes on this site (MMMmmmm, so good!). Thanks for looking!

Lego Mars Mission Cake
My 14 year old brother wanted a mars mission cake for his birthday so I made the cake to look like mars and we put his (throughly washed) Lego mars mission men on his cake. The aircraft is being suspended on some beading wire hanging from part of a metal coat hanger that we cut off to make it look like it's flying (his own idea). All bc icing scraped and patted to make it look rough with cake scraps put on top for the hills. Thanks for looking!

Strawberry Cake Ball Truffles
My new Cake balls! Yummy! Strawberry cake, strawberry cream cheese icing, strawberry coating (Wilton vanilla candy melts - white (one bag for a batch), with strawberry extract added). Hearts are leftover candy melts put into decorating bag with a #4 round tip. I took off the tip when it started to harden up some and popped it in the microwave for about 20 sec. or so. Thanks for taking a look!

Gift Wrapped Carrot Cake Balls
Here is an up-close view of one of the bags for my Daisy Gift Basket. Carrots are Wilton vanilla candy melts colored orange (I didn't have any of the already colored ones). I used decorating bags with a small leaf tip and a #4 round tip. When it hardened up to much, I took off the tips and popped it in the microwave for a few seconds (20? maybe). I had a hard time making them look like real carrots because the candy melts were to "liquidy". Royal icing would probably work better. Thanks for looking!

50Th Birthday - Spring
For a 50th + (they were celebrating after her birthday) birthday party. I was very pleased with how this turned out. It was the first cake I didn't have any troubles with smoothing the icing! Yeah!!! (although there is a boo boo on the cake, I had to scrape off some stuff and then I messed up the plus sign. Whoops!) All bc, 12" round two layers, bc filling. Thanks for looking everyone!

Smiley Face Cake
I made up this cake for an girl who doesn't like flowers and girly things for her birthday. I came up with this because she is always smiling and makes everyone else smile along with her! All bc. The blue circle in the top right hand corner is one I did on the whole corner. I tried to do different sized circles and put them in different positions on the cake. Thanks for looking!
