This was a cake I made for a four year olds birthday ! He loved the cake... used the wilton cars pan. Bottom layer is butter cake with IMBC and top is chocolate sour cream cake with 1/2 crisco 1/2 butter BC. This was my first paid cake!!

I had trouble with my filling bulging out of the sides of my cake, also had trouble getting my icing nice and flawless!!
CAn someone please give me tips on how to make my cake icing job look better???? I tried the viva method, but...!!!
This was my first attempt at a wilton 3D bear! He had a couple of major defects because he pulles a header when I pulled out of the driveway... LOL!! Oh well... sorry my picture is blurry... he had more definition than you can see in the picture! I had fun and can't wait to go to more classes!
This is the first cake I have made in over 5 years! It is a butter cake with homemade buttercream, covered in wilton fondant. This was my first time using fondant and it was pretty tricky! I had tons of bumpiness. I have admired all of the cakes on this website and wished I had known of this site before I made this cake. I am hoping to start a business soon, so any critiques would be appreciated! This is my first post and I am thrilled to be among you fellow cakelovers!
