Giselle Enchanted Cake

For my youngest girl and for her 6th birthday, I bought this beautiful Giselle enchanted dress from Disney. And to match it, I made a doll princess cake with the exact replica of the dress. I looooved doing it! It's chocolate sponge cake (skirt) covered with ganache and MMf for the dress. The body has Styrofoam inside, and the head and hair are all MMF too. In one of the pictures you can see her dress :-)

Anny's First Communion Cake

I took my inspiration on a loveandsugar's cake here on CC. I made it for my niece Anny :-) Chocolate cake covered with ganache and MMF above. Accents are 50/50 mix of MMF and gumpaste.

The Princess And The Cat

Margarida wanted a pink princess for her birthday :-) I made vanilla cake filled with chocolate buttercream, covered with mmf and then the frills are 50% of gumpaste and 50% of mmf. For the head and body I sculpted some Styrofoam with my kitchen knife :D and then covered it with 50/50 gumpaste mmf. Cabbage

After seeing a cabbage cake done by JankaT, I thought it was the perfect cake for my mother in law (she's a farmer). It's pound cake, covered with MMF and I was helped by my 7 year old daughter. In the end the cake had also some caterpillars added, but I forgot to take pictures :-( ... Men's Shoe

It's not like I wanted to throw a shoe at my husband, it's just that he happens to like shoes :-D I used a spongy chocolate cake, covered with gancahe and MMF on top. Fairy Princess

The skirt of the dress is jello cake, covered with buttercream and then MMF. The head and bodice are cakeball covered the same way. Hair, arms, crown are MMF too. This cake is about 12 inches high.

A Basket Of Roses

Chocolate sponge cake covered with ganache, and fully decorated with MMF (leaves and roses are colored mmf and basket weave is chocolate mmf)

Bubble Gum Machine For Aurea

Pound cake covered with MMF. Plastic jar filled with real bubblegum balls. It was a huge success! Nobody realized it was a cake! If anyone wants a pictorial just pm me. I'll give you a link both in Spanish or English

Patricia's Communion Cake

Red velvet and italian cream cake, both filled with creamcheese icing and covered with MMF. I made the cup and cross with pastillaje and all accents are MMF too. I used PME plunger cutters for flowers and leaves.

Strawberry Shortcake For Laurinha

This cake was for a friend's daughter (Laurinha) who just turned 3! Pound cake covered with MMF and ganache underneath. All accents are MMF too. First time applying the fondant over fondant technique for doing the character. I never thought it would be such time consuming: 2 hours just making the heart with it inside! :D

Santa For Pedro

This cake was made for a little boy who is crazy about Santa and frogs! So I thought 'Why don't I put them together?' His birthday was on April, and nobody found it strange to see this cake on spring time 'cause everybody knows about it :D This is a pound cake made on a nordicware tin of Santa Claus. Sneaker For Ines

My friend's daughter just turned 12! And this is what we made her to celebrate it. I'd like to thank annaknap81 and also all CCers who share with all of us their pictures. This is a cake done for a friend's birthday whose name is Rose :) . It's madeira cake covered with chocolate buttercream and then basket weave with chocolate MMF. Roses and leaves are all MMF too. TFL

Mermaid Swimming With Fish

3 layer Chocolate cake covered with MMF. Mermaid, shells and fish made with pastillage. Sea foam made of royal icing. I had a terrible time trying to cover the cake with the blue mmf, it teared everywhere. So I thought foam would be great to cover it!!! That's why the sea seems so turbulent ;-)

Cidalia

Madeira cake covered with MMF. All accents and doll are MMF too. For a dear friend, whose birthday was also the last day of her medical treatment.

Cake decorating is a hobby to do with my girls (9,7 and 4yo). We made this one for a little friend's birthday. The theme was mermaids, but I had an awful time with the blue MMF! Has anyone had this experience? It was a blue batch made from scratch.

Chihuahua In A Bag

Little Dog In A Gift Box

This dog was a request of the birthday girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pastillaje lid, cakeball dog covered on buttercream, cake and lid covered on MMF. The cake is madeira cake. I left directions in the CC's spanish forum under the name Perrillo como regalo (con semi paso a paso). I got inspired on a cake done by Tray2. Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pink Fish

Strawberry cake, covered with MMF, and some pink and pearl dust to give it a shiny effect. . Pink MMF was all I had, so pink was the color :) I made it to the woman to whom I buy fish because she is a real darling. Cakes here in Portugal are decorated quite differently, so she didn't know what it was :) She couldn't tell it was a cake. She got very emotional over it, and that made me VERY HAPPY.

Daisies For Grandma

Today it was my grandma's birthday party, and this was her cake! It's carrot and pineapple cake, covered and decorated with MMF. The recipe was one very well mentioned in the forum, and it turned out to be very very tasty, and good to decorate with MMF. Thanks for looking!!!!

Lion Cub Final Version :-)

This is the finished cake of an already posted preview 3 days ago. Birthday cake for a 2 years old boy! I used the old 1974 Wilton pan lion cub to make this cake. It's sponge lemon cake, fully covered and decorated with MMF. Whiskers are made with rice vermicelli. If you like, I can email you some pictures I made while I was making it (kind of pictorial)
