70's Tye Dye

This was a cake for a 10 year-old's birthday. She asked for a retro tie dye cake with peace signs and daisies. The inside of the cake was tie dyed also. I got my insiperation from a few different cakes on CC. Thank you! I wish I got a picture of the inside after it was baked, it was very cool.

Kenetic Turtle

This was a cake I made for one of the very first racers and cofounder of the Humboldt County Kentetic Sculpture races. Modeled after his first kenetic sculpture, it was a giant pink polka dotted tortise. The cakes back legs actually moved with the help of a small model motor inside the cake.

Poker Birthday Cake

I marbled the fondant to give it a wood grain look and cut and painted all the cards and poker chips with edible markers. The beer cans are candles, everything else in edible. The cake is German chocolate with coconut pecan filling. For a friends 30th birthday.
