9 inch round cake decorated with cream cheese frosting
1/2 sheet cake with buttercream. I used piping gel to transfer image to the cake.
Cake was made using an acutal guitar hero guitar as a pattern. Neck of guitar is rice krispie treats and big part of guitar is chocolate cake. This was for my son's 7th birthday.

This is the cake I entered for my first time in the beginner division at the Oklahoma Sugar art Show. I didn't win a ribbon but I learned a lot going to the show! Covered with MMF and cut outs are MMF accented with gold dragees. Just some FYI I thought dragees were edible but evidently they are not so don't use them if you enter a cake here and make sure you cover your cake board with fondant too!!
12 inch square cake for the base covered with chocolate buttercream with red coloring added to make frosting dark red. Hat covered with MMF. I just covered the cake board with a bandana and covered with clear plastic wrap to keep the bandana from getting grease spots from the frosting. Thanks to pictures from this site for the inspiration. I just looked at the bandana and piped on the bandana design with buttercream.
I used a large pyrex bowl for the belly and the WIlton sports ball pan for the breasts. I had to cut the breasts down because they were too big for the belly. I made my own MMF to cover the cake.

I made this cake for out vacation bible school this year and the theme was the Good News Games. They studied 5 countries which were Kenya, Mexico, New Zealand, Scotland and China. I put all the countries flags and made a globe on top the cake and stuck in flags where the countries are located. The cake is all MMF and buttercream.
