Basketweave Wedding Cake
I made this cake for the local 2010 NIFCA Culinary Arts Competition (in Barbados). The idea came from one of the Wilton Wedding Cake books where the RI bands were piped over a flower former with a 2D tip and left to dry. I probably used about 300 - 350 RI bands. Sadly, I had to use a lot of silk flowers because the moisture in the air from Tropical Storm Tomas destroyed all of my gumpaste flowers (sniff sniff). I still managed to make 3 fantasy flowers.

Cake With Tiger Lilies
This cake was done for my class on gumpaste flowers. It is a 9" and 6" round cake with a 4" round cake topper (made by gluing round pieces of styrofoam together). Flowers include tiger lilies, hand-pulled stephanotis, mini daisies and ivy leaves. the large leaves were bought at a local craft store. i will post a closeup of the cake topper
