Western Wedding
6, 10,12, 16 inch rounds, white with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Ribbon around bottom of each tier is satin. The bride provided the strand of faux barbed wire to drape around the cake. The look we were going for was western, but not cheesy western. I think it turned out nicely.

Maria's Cake
My very first wedding cake ever!!! Made for my little sister to match the one in the Wilton Wedding Cakes book from a few years ago. Buttercream with nearly 500 lily-like flowers in royal icing. I had some problems with bulging between the layers, but overall I was happy with the end result. It looks like it's leaning a bit in the picture, but I think maybe the photographer just had one too many! It actually stood straight and tall to my great relief!!

Onesie And Baby Shoes
This is the second cake that I made like this. The mom to be's sister ordered the first for a shower in our hometown. Four days later, the mom to be called me from her home an hour away to see if I would make another one because her friends were giving her a shower that weekend in their city. She loved the first cake so much that she wanted to buy another herself instead of the grocery store cake that the friends were getting. Made me feel really good! BC with fondant onesie & roses, gumpaste shoes.

Donkey From Shrek
This cake was made at a time when there wasn't a "Shrek" movie out in theaters and I couldn't find a coloring book picture to go by. I had to draw this freehanded by looking at the dvd box. I thought it turned out okay considering. It was actually made for a 43 year old lady's birthday! All buttercream.
