Wedding Cake With Purple Roses
I had to bake and assemble this cake during 95 degree weather and 90% humidity! And then the wedding was outdoors...next to the ocean! Needless to say, it was a nailbiter. The cake definitely got a little melty, but I'm just glad it held up long enough to be cut and served!!!

Autumn Leaves Wedding Shower Cake
This cake was for a bride-to-be who made her own wedding invitations. Since the wedding is in October on a farm, she designed a red and gold leaf motif. I used that as inspiration for her cake. It's a four layer chocolate cake filled with mint chocolate chip buttercream (a new recipe I invented just for her) and covered in dark chocolate ganache. The red and gold leaves are chocolate transfers that I drew freehand, and the gold ribbon is satin lined with clear packing tape. She loved it!

Sunflower Cake
I made this cake for a summer barbeque. It's a two-layer yellow butter cake with buttercream filling and frosting. The sunflower is a chocolate "painting" based on a design from the Whimsical Bakehouse. I used dark chocolate and tinted white wafer chocolate and painted the shadows and details with a brush.
