These were done for a mexican themed bridal shower. Lots of fun to do! Sugar cookies with Antonia's icing. First time using her icing (usually use Toba's) - great to work with, much easier too. Also, a total lift of one of her wedding cake cookies! :)
Cake for a 9 year old - bowling party of course. :) White cake covered buttercream. Bowling ball is covered in MMF. Bowling pins are made from chocolate.

This cake was made for two little girls that were sharing a birthday (so of course there had to be TWO Mermaids!). 12" and 9" White cake with buttercream. All accents are fondant.

Sheet cake for a swimming party! Yellow cake with raspberry filling, iced in buttercream. Figures are made from fondant, the water is piping gel. Got the idea from a picture posted by LisaMS!
This cake was for my niece who turned 10. I asked her what she wanted and her "intstructions" were, a chocolate and vanilla cake with horses and frogs on it! This is what I could come up with! lol.
This was for my oldest son's birthday. He wanted a nature cake with his favorite creatures: snake, lizard, bird and dragonfly! :) I got some of the ideas from browsing some pictures and just created my own, and I wish I could remember names, but I can't! Someone posted an awesome article on making the dragonfly - and it came out so cool.

These were so much fun to do! Sugar cookies with Toba Glace and Alice's icing for outlining. I melted some candy melts for the center and piped on some icing. Luster dust and cocoa on the edge for the color.
