Mickey And Minnie Mouse
I did these for my daughter's 1st and son's 3rd birthday party. Mickey is WASC and Minnie is a chocolate version of the same recipe. Both were filled and iced with IndyDebi's butter cream ad then covered in Satin Ice. The "mouse" parts are painted sytrofoam and the Minnie bow is a real bow from my daughter's collection.

American Girl Bistro Polka Dots
This is a recreation of the birthday cakes served at the American Girl Bistros. I made it for my cousin's daughter's 10th birthday. She went to the Bistro in Atlanta a few weeks back and wanted the same cake for her party at home. The cake is WASC and Chocolate WASC iced in buttercream with fondant dots.

New Year's Cake
This was my first stacked cake, first time using shimmer dust and my first cake with thingies sticking out of it on wires. I had the help of an impatient 3 ½ year old so it was stacked a bit off center but we think it looks OK that way. We also had a fondant accident on the top layer so we ran a strip of black around it to cover. And I am not sure that my wire is stiff enough but itâs holding for now. All and all I am pleased with and learned a lot doing it.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 1St Birthday Cake
I made this for my son's 1st birthday party tomorrow night. The Clubhouse itself is styrofoam covered in satin ice. I wasn't brave enough to try cake or RKT. The foam proved to be enough of a challege as it was. But the sheet cake is White Chocolate Raspberry, butter cream and Italian Cream cake. Our son insisted on standing in between me and the counter staring up at me as I decorated so my designed changed a bit but I am still pleased.

Topsy Turvy
I made this with the Wilton Topsy Turvy form pan. I didn't intend on having to pipe all the way around the cake but it didn't bake evenly and then my husband had it turned out into the plate before I had the chance to trim it down. It stuck so I had to fill in the edges just a bit. But it was a just becasue chocolate cake with bc frosting so I was happy with it.

Ice Cream Cone Cake
My daughter and I made this last night becasue we wanted cake. It was my first time using this pan and it was really easy. I wasn't really happy with the icing because we used canned and iced it before it was totally cooled...3 year olds are a bit impatient when cake is involved. But it was cute and we had fun.

Little Einstein Rocket Cake
This is a 10 3/4 x 7 5/8 in. oval stacked on top of 13 x 9 7/8 in. oval (both Wilton pans). It was iced with butter cream and the detail work done. Then we sprayed it red with the Wilton spray colors from the supermarket. Once the red had dried we iced in the blue windows. The antenna is a cherry blow pop and teh engines are Twinkies. I got the Little Einstein images from a website and just printed them out and backed them with clear packaging tape to prevent bleeding.
