2010 Gacs Entry
This was my entry for the 2010 Great American Cake Show. The theme was "Weddings Across America" in which each entrant was asked to represent their favorite state. I chose to represent Pennsylvania with wildlife - the title of the cake was "The Wildlife Utopia." Each piece of lace was hand-made using a mold. The pheasant feathers were make using rice paper. The flowers & leaves were made using gumpaste & dusting powders. In addition, I hand painted a pheasant, deer, & trout. Thank you for looking!!!
