Army Tank Birthday Cake
The bottom cake is three 1 1/2" layers and the top is two 2" layers. All covered in fondant with gumpaste wheels and decorations. The little firearms are toothpicks covered in gumpaste, while the big one in front is a dowel rod drilled through the foam board, with a straw covered in gumpaste over the rod. A very heavy cake! The toy G.I. Joes on the board are 4" high.

Riggers Welcome Home
This cake was to welcome home my dh, who works as a Parachute Rigger for the Army. Rigger Wings were covered in poured fondant (1st attempt), while the other cake was done with regular fondant. Decorations done in GP, while chain is done with RI. Wafer paper delivery never showed, so fabric flag was purchased, cleaned and laid ontop of cake.

Welcom Home Soldiers!
This cake was for a soldier who just got home to AK from a year+ long deployment. I have 4 more to make this month alone, 1 for my dh, yeah! Realized that I need to take a painting class real soon though, as I tried to paint the eagle (3 times) but gave up and made him out of fondant/gumpaste. I have a few more techniques to perfect before the next cake is due, but overall am very happy with it. Thank you to susanacakebabies, for letting me use your design ideas.
