A little boy's 1st birthday. The body is all cake, with a rice krispie head. I was super busy that week, this was one of three sculpted cakes I had....so I didn't get to do as much with this cake as I wanted.
This was for a little girl's 2nd birthday at Gymboree. It's all cake except gymo's head, which is rice krispies.
This was for a 50th birthday party...a replica of the man's sailboat. I needed 50 servings so I got the idea to do the wave crest. Everything is cake except for the bow of the boat and a small piece at the back of the boat. The sail was gumpaste, and over 2 ft tall!
Everything is made from fondant and gumpaste. Her mom told me what her favorite things were and I incorporated them into the cake.
