Green Butterfly Cake
This cake is a 6", 8", 10", and 12" cake with vanilla and strawberry swirled cake and strawberry flavored buttercream icing. The flowers were fake ones provided by the bride and the butterflies are made out of gelatin. I have to say thank you to Nunuk for the inspiration for this cake. The bride loved your cake that was in the Wedding cake competition titled, "Drapes and Roses"

Bassinet Baby Shower Cake
This is a chocolate cake covered in buttercream and the cover peice is fondant molded in half of a 3-D egg pan then covered with basketweave. I didn't get a picture of the cake with the writing on it, but there the finished cake had writing on the front saying "A gift from God". Since the cake was for a baby boy I added the blue ribbon to incorporate that. TYFL! :-)

Castle In The Clouds
This castle was my daughter's 5th birthday cake. It was supposed to be a castle in the clouds theme. The clouds were made of cotton candy. Some of the butterflies were made out of all royal icing (lighter pink ones) and the others (birther pink) were made out of findant with green royal icing bodies. TFL! :-)

First Wedding Cake
White cake covered in fondant. The flowers on top and in the middle are royal icing petunias and the flowers around the columns are blue drop flowers. The bride wanted simple but elegant and was very pleased with the cake. I used a blue ribbon around the bottom edge to cover the little problem areas I had with the fondant.

Jungle Birthday Cake
I had been imagining my son's birthday cake for a month. It turned out differently then what I expected, but thought it was still ok. This cake is tiered with a 10" and an 8" not centered but pushed to the back. It's made with buttercream and the jungle animals are made with fondant and gumpaste. Thanks to the people who helped me out with figuring how to put the animals together!

Wilton Course 3 Final Prjoect
A tiered cake covered in fondant. The white roses in the front is a corsage that was given to me from my Mother-in-law, the peachy roses right next to the white roses are fondant roses, and the clumps of peachy flowers on top of the tiers are peach colored petunias made of royal icing. Sadly nobody got to eat this cake because the cake portion was screwed up. My fiance didn't notice the cake in the oven and turned the oven on to broil. It was funny WAY after it happened. :-)

Wilton Course 1 Final Cake
This was my first cake. Our class that day we were rushed, so I didn't get the chance to put any writing on it. And I have to say I had a pregnant brain moment (7 1/2 months pregnant at the time) and the cake was green because I was trying to "make" a different color blue with yellow and green. lol
