Cake Me Candy Land
My DD and DS helped plan and execute this cake. Butter cream iced with skittles candy dressed up for button candy. Kool Aid tropical flavored MMF gum drops. Marshmallow pops, rock candy, lolli pop topper for party favors. DD first attemp at ruffle swags and DS first attempt to base ice cakes and write on side of cake. We had a great time planning this cake and working on it as a family. The older kid version of Cake Me Candy Land

Ace Will Be A Fireman Just Like Daddy
Fondant covered cake with brick impression. Gumpaste fireman, flames, fire hydrant, ladders, beagle dalmation (I tried for a straight up dalmation but...). I used black sugar crystal for the "tar top" roof. This was inspired by a picture given to me - cake artist unknow. Please let me know if it is yours to thank you and give you credit!

Rose And Callas
This is a copy of a cake the MOB gave me. She wanted it as close to the picture as possilbe with ivory fondanct and pink rosses, callas, and filler flowers. I don't know who made the original to give credit but have found this to be a popular cake. I made the roses and callas following Edna's tutorials, and the filler flowers by guess work. The fillers were the hardest to do! Thanks for looking.

Death To His Youth
A friends 30th birthday party. His girlfriend went with a death to his youth theme. The zombie was 34 inches tall and 32 inches wides. The arms and head are RKT and the cake was chocolate, WASC, and lemon. The cake served about 300 with taking the carving servings out. This is my first attempt at a skelton frame cake. I learned a lot making the cake, measure you door width and the size of your car is really important!

Jacob's Fire Engine
This cake was for a 6 year old boy who wanted a firetruck party. I made the cake to travel 3 hours in the Texas heat and humidity. I had a bit of problems with the length of the truck and the cake sinking. All in all, I had a good time and learned a lot. I will never do a fire engine last minute.

Radio Flyer Push Wagon
big mess on this cake. I planned to do a tradition radio flyer but needed to change it to a push wagon for baby's first birthday and to travel 3 hours. The wood slats are real wood and I ended up using foam board for the uprights. I made the original out of gumpaste but they cracked when I moved them. The wheels are RKT covered in fondant. TFL

Zoo Cake
The cake was for a party at the zoo. They wanted a cake with the WOW factor but little cake. I made three 8 inch layers, 3 inches tall for the parents and surrounded the cake with cupcake bushes for the children. The animals, flowers, bridges, reeds, and cat tails are all gumpaste. The rocks and pebble walk way are chocolate rocks. The water is gelatine gel. TFL

Night At The Movies
This cake and rice crispie treat for a birthday party movie theme. The popcorn is MFF with a french vanilla and is still soft to eat, the scene marker is RKT, the soda has coke jello jigglers with knox blocks ice cubes. Had tons of fun until I had to make the movie reel. I hate black fondant!

Feldman Brothers Inspired Baby Shower Cake
The ladies planning this shower wanted a cake that looked like a open gift of a Feldman Brothers baby dress. I pleated the corners of the fondant ro resemble a wrapped box . The toile ruffle cake board is from the invitations along with the pink w/ white polka dots. The tissues paper was luster dusted to give it a shimmer. The pink was done mottled to resemble the toile look. TFL
