25Th Anniversary

Made for my son's friend's parents anniversary. Covered in fondant imprinted with a paisley print mat. Roses are gumpaste. The lady at the hall said she's seen alot of wedding cakes and this was prettier than any of them, and couldn't believe I do this as a hobby. Made me feel soooo good. I envy all the people here who get to do this for a profession.

4Oth Birthday

Cake is a 9" X 13" cake, cut in thirds and stacked. Covered in fondant that was imprinted with a paisley pattern mat. The handle, bow and pearls are gumpaste and the $40 (for her age)(canadian) is photocopied and cut so the whole bill isn't in the purse.

Tool Box

Cake was made with a 9" X 13" pan, cut in thirds and layered. Sides of the box are sugar cookies, cut to shape, imprinted with a wood grain mat then baked. When cool they were painted with brown food color. The dowel is real wood. the towel is fondant and the tools are chocolate(candy melts) and the silver parts are rubbed with dry luster dust. For a friends fathers 80th birthday who was a carpenter and had a box like it. She said people couldn't believe it was the cake.

Cake was a 9" X 13" pan, cut in 3 and layered. All decorations are fondant except for the shoes, soother and keys. Shoe pattern is from CC.

Wedding Celebration

This cake was for a party after the wedding, it was a small wedding and the party was a few months later. Cake is WASC with lemon curd, and raspberry buttercream filling. Covered in buttercream with fondant molded lace trim and gumpaste roses.

Mom's 80Th Birthday

Cake is WASC with buttercream. Had trouble with the lid. Made it out of modelling chocolate and fondant mix. Let it dry for almost a week and tried taking it off the board that was in it. Big mistake, the sides almost all fell off. But it was still a big hit at the party The flowers and butterflies are all gumpaste, The butterflies are made with molds and cutters, painted with luster dust. The "tissue paper" is white modelling chocolate.

Tea Pot

Tea pot is made with the sports ball pan, cups are cup cakes. Covered in fondant with fondant flowers and white chocolate "steam". My friends mom saw a picture of her with the cake and said :that's so nice, they gave you a tea set" I figure that's a pretty good compliment.

Made for a patient who finally went home months after he was born. Covered in buttercream with fondant decorations.

Pillow Cake

cake cut to shape, covered in fondant, scored to make pattern, silver dragees at corners. The crown is made out of royal icing the pattern was from here. It was fun to make but they sure are delicate, make more than one if you try this.

Hospital Anniversary

I'm a nurse at the Children's Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I was honored to be asked to make this cake to celebrate the hospital's 100th anniversary. All decorated with fondant. "Dr. Goodbear" was done by cutting out his shapes and layering the colors then outlined in black buttercream.

I got the idea and help off here, many great spidermen to look at. the shoulders are cake and the head is RKT. It was for a friends daughters birthday. She wanted spiderman for almost a year so spiderman she got.

Sushi

all sushi made from fondant. Board is cake covered in fondant and painted with food color to look like wood. Small pieces of cake under the larger pieces of sushi and in the small rolls. Wasabi and ginger are fondant rolled very thin and piled up. For my husbands birthday, he loves sushi and was thrilled with the cake. TFL

cake is covered in buttercream. Leprechaun and baby in pot of gold are fondant. Made for a friend who got her adopted daughter on st pat's day, they celebrate it as Family Day. The gold coins are cut out with the wide end of a decorating tube and painted with gold luster dust mixed with vodka. tfl

Full picture of the cake. Grandpa is blowing the ball into the hole. He has an egg carton there since he keeps his balls in one. Cake is chocolate with whipped Toblerone ganache filling, iced in buttercream, and MMF pieces.
