Nudie Night In The Hot Tub
This was an anniversay cake for a couple who loves their hot tub. The cake is two 6" rounds iced in buttercream. The figures are made from fondant using Lorraine's fabulous method and the bathing suits are also made of fondant. This was a collaboration between my sister and I.

Jason's Wedding Cake
This was my first stab at a wedding cake for a friend. They wanted very simple and elegant. It ended up shifing a bit in transit and the bottom layer has a few 'wrinkles'. But regardless, they loved the cake. I'm not quite sure I'm ready to sell these....I need a little more practice.

Mom's Popcorn Cake
My mother is a freak when it comes to 2 things - popcorn and nachos, so this is her mother's day cake for this year. I'll save the nacho cake for her birthday. Anyways, it's fondant; the "popcorn" medallion is made from white and milk chocolate, and I used real popcorn coated with white chocolate so that it sticks to the cake and the board nicely.

Cassandra's Tropical Bratz Cake
I made this cake for a little girl who was turning 8 and had a Hawaiian Slumber Party Birthday and she wanted a Bratz cake. All the decorations are made with fondant and painted with thinned icing color. The doll was a bit big and hides the palm tree which was a pretzel rod covered in chocolate with fondant leaves. The 'water' gel actually was only around the top of the bottom layer, but ended up 'sliding down' in transit. I also used graham cracker crumbs for the sand. The girls loved it.
