This was a cake for my little girl's 2nd birthday. Everytime I asked her what kind of cake she wanted she just replied "candy". So this is what she got! TFL!

This was for our church's 200th Birthday. Church is covered in fondant with fondant and gumpaste details. Bottom teirs are bc with fondant accents.

Birthday Hat

The mom wanted the cake to look like the party hat the little girl would be wearing. All buttercream with chocolate flowers.

Bridal Shower

This was my first attempt at roses made from chocolate modeling clay. So much fun but took forever! This was the only picture I got since I finished the cake 2 minutes before it was picked up. Whew!

These are nothing special...just the first cupcakes I have ever made worth taking a picture of so I thought I would. I have finally figured out if I let the cupcakes cool in the pan for a little while the liners won't separate from the cake. Figured that out on the second batch. Obviously not this one!

Here is a closeup of two of the bears on a baby shower cake I posted a few weeks ago. I just found these pictures. You couldn't really see them in the picture I posted. One has gotten into the baby powder and the other one wipes.

First Birthday

Princess Castle

This was for my daughter's 4th birthday. The bottom tier is sour cream pound cake with bc icing and the top is double chocolate cake with chocolate caramel bc. This was my first royal icing tiara. I couldn't believe how easy and fun it was to make. TFL!

Mischevious Bears

Sour cream pound cake with buttercream, all fondant decorations. It was really cute in person. Much cuter before the fondant started to sag. Oh well, I tried!

After seeing all of the beautiful bows on top of the cakes on CC I wanted to try one myself. I just started working with fondant and it is so much fun!!!
