Cowboy Cake!
This is a 3 tier cake that I made for my little boy's, Daniel, 6th birthday. the red tier (10in) is buttercream icing w/ piped icing in a bandana print, the blue tier (8in) is iced in buttercream w/ fondant belt & buckle, the whitle tier (6in) is buttercream w/ black fondant pieces for the cowhide. I did one in black inicng & then decided to use fondant for the rest b/c I hate how black icing stains the mouth! The top has a sheriff badge w/ a number 6 on it made from fondant & the cake is trimmed w/ a fondant rope. My little cowboy LOVED it!

Beachball And Sandpail
i wanted to take my kids to the beach on the 4th of July but ever since my husband had a heart transplant, he doesn't like big crowds (which meant the beach was out) so i brought the "beach" to my kids! beach ball is sports ball pan covered in buttercream and fondant panels. the pail is a carved cake w/ fondant handle & shovel and i made the seashells by hand from fondant. ignore the pink one in the middle it looks like a dead squid or jellyfish or something! hahaha!

Cheer Cupcakes
i made these for my daughter's cheer coach's birthday. i literally made them in 30min! while the cupcakes were baking, i threw made the figures out of fondant (except the poms-only the handles were fondant on them). i threw them in the fridge to cool off for about 5min then iced them, put the figures on, and boxed them. my dd used a edible writing pen to writed i love coach sara. i wish i had more time for the medal b/c i wanted to finish the edges (kinda make them look like the edge of a quarter) and i wanted to make a fondant ribbon for it, but like i said, i was really rushed!

i saw these in a craft catalog as ornaments. i thought "i could make those as cupcake toppers"...so i did! they are marshmallows w/ fondant accents on top of chocolate & graham crackers! everything is edible except for the ribbon handles. i didn't realize that my sled handles were upside down until i looked @ the pic after i already made them! what can i say, i'm from TEXAS...i've never been sleddin'! haha! i put a pic w/o the ribbon handles too!

my husband loves pizza. it's his fave so i made him a pizza cake for father's day! just a one layer 9inch cake. iced w/ red buttercream for "sauce" then the "cheese" is grated, melted white choclate, the "pepperoni, ham, and sausage" are fondant. i took a lighter over the chocolate to make it seem more realistic.

Wwe Wrestling Cake
i made this for my boy's 6th birthday! he loves wwe! it's i think a 10inch squre pan. fondant borders and posts. iced in buttercream. the "ropes" are spaghetti noodles colored w/ red food color. i wasn't at my house and my mother lives in the boondocks (no good icing supplies) so i used red gel color. ugh...it kept meling in the louisiana heat so i didn't finish outlining the ring, but other than that, i'm happy w/ it! and my boy loved it!
