Crown Royal Birthday
Everything is Edible. The bottle is 16 inches tall, made from all carrot cake covered in fondant. No RKT was used in this cake. The red solo cup is made from gum paste, then air brushed. Ice cubes and drink are poured sugar. Though you can't see the bottle has a handle just like the 1.75 ltr bottle it was modeled after. The cake is actually 50% larger than the actual bottle. People at the party kept poking their fingers in the cup to see if it was real!

Maia's 1St Birthday
Mom gave me invitation to use as inspiration for this cake. Covered in fondant with fondant ladybug on top. Side of the pink layer were embossed with basket weave pattern. Ladybug trails were hand painted with black food color. The two "smash" cakes are 1/2 ball pans covered in buttercream with fondant accents. Two cakes because one was going to be used in a professional photo shoot.

Kansas State Fair 2010
Theme for cake entries "things that go bump in the night" This is my take on that! Leg and foot constructed out of RKT covered in modeling chocolate then covered in fondant. Used petal dusts to create the injuried toe. Pillow covered in fondant. I received 1st place in my division.

Jodi
Remake of my Dieker Wedding cake that was done in pink. Some small changes from the pink version. The bride had a picture of that cake for over two years just waiting for her wedding date. Everthing is buttercream. Sizes 8" 10" 12" 14". Had to deliver this July 3rd in the pouring rain. Real ribbon around the base of each cake, real flowers.

Payton's Roller Skates
This was a fun cake to make. Everything is cake - skates are marbled cake, disco ball is chocolate. Covered in fondant. Grandmother ordered for 11 yr old. She didn't want standing up skates (darn!) so I went as extreme as I could without them standing. The whole cake matches the invitations. Disco ball painted with silver luster dust then sprinkled with silver peralized sugar crystals. Was a little disappointed with the laces, fondant just wouldn't come out of extruder smooth. Letters were cut out using cricut.
