Did this for my Dad's 63rd birthday. Got the little man idea from JamieT. Not as cute as hers but it works. It's all butter cream that covers the cake. The little man and road are fondant. First cake I've done in a while.
My first cake since I had my baby girl in December. It has fondant bows and roses. The icing is butter cream. I got the idea from a similar cake on this site. Thanks!
I did this cake for a friends 30th birthday. It is a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. The monkeys are rolled fondant. The trees are butter cream. I got the monkey idea from another website.
I made this for a couple of guys at work. (a couple of clowns) I made a 6" round cake layer and cut the side to make a cake wedge and then decorated it with buttercream. They loved it!
If my memory serves me right, I got this idea from a Wilton book, I jsut can't remember which one. Can't take all the credit for the idea.
I made this for a baby shower that was around Christmas. I used a gingerbread man as my theme.
This cake was for a graduate of Florida State. It is a yellow cake with all buttercream. I freehanded the picture onto a piece of parchment paper and then outlined that with black gel. Lightly pressed onto top of cake and then used a star tip for the rest. I was pretty proud of it.
This is the first birthday cake i have actually made in a while. It is yellow cake with butter cream frosting. It was for our Choir Directors 30th birthday.
