Mermaid For My Not So Little Girl
My daughter requested a doll cake for her 9th birthday. She didn't want another Ariel cake. When she saw the wondermold box she decided she wanted the Mermaid on there! No red hair, but we gave her a red top. Chocolate cake, all buttercream except for chocolate marble seashells (a few coated in pearl luster dust). First time using the wonder mold and doing a doll cake. She loves it!

Anniversary Cake
Okay - my first time doing a 3 tier cake - for my parents 30th anniversary party this weekend. The tiering wasn't too difficult, but I'm not happy with the rest. The colors were supposed to match their wedding colors - Ivory buttercream for my mothers dress, yellow, peach and blue for the bridesmaids dresses. The ivory, I think, looks horrible - it was hot here today and the frosting wouldn't cooperate with me and is not smooth ..... the list goes on. The one bonus? It's still edible! Comments welcome!

Nascar Cupcakes
For my sons class today. 2nd of 3 parties I have to bake for ..... the big one is this weekend where he has requested a Jeff Gordon 3D car cake. Knowing this, and the fact that the kids were nice enough to pass on their colds to my husband and I, I didn't get crazy with the cupcakes. Didn't matter to them, though - they devoured them and played with the flags.

Business Logo Cookies
I make these cookies to match my business logo. Had several chocolate orders for Halloween and I bagged the cookies, attached a business card to the top and put one in each order. I thought they turned out kinda cute ..... had to cute the cookies and then flip the cutout over on the baking sheet, as my logo has the umbrella handle facing the other way! Still new at this cookie thing, but I'm enjoying it!

Bowling Cake
My son had his bowling birthday party last weekend, and wanted a cake just like his sister had for her bowling party, so it's pretty much identical to the other one that I did in the summer. Didn't realize until after it was done and I looked at it that I forgot the black stripes around the tops of the pins! Oh well - they devoured it - never had so many requests for 2nds! don't know if you can tell, but the bowling ball is 3D - made it with the Wilton mini ball pan. Thanks for looking!
