Circus Cake
I made this for my sons' Birthday party, last Sunday. The clown was from a Nicholas Lodge book, and gave me headaches. So did the cake. But my boys loved it and so did the guests, I even got thanks and hugs from some of the kids "for making such a beautiful cake". That made it all worth it.

Witch On The Broom
I made this for a neighborhood Halloween party. People could not believe the toper was (for the most part) edible. I had to use wire support for the tree that I covered then in chocolate fondant. Cake is 10 inch yellow with SMBC and covered in fondant. Witch landed on the broom was inspored by one of Aine2's pictures. TFL.

Little Mermaid
I was supposed to make this cake for a little grirl's 5th birthday - until her mom changed her mind about the theme when I was about 90 percent done with the decorations! So I made the cake anyway, for my family, not spending too much time on the details, though. Anyway, I had fun with it. All decorations, including Ariel are modeling paste.

10Th Anniversary Beach Cake
I made this cake for my husband's and my 10th wedding anniversary yesterday. It was definitely the most fun I've had making a cake! My husband and my parents wouldn't let me cut it, so it's still intact! It's a 9 inch chocolate cake with berry IMBC, covered in fondant and painted with paste colors mixed with a bit of alcohol. All the other decorations are fondant/gumpaste. Inspired by our anniversary vacation on Tybee Island just a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for looking!
