This was for my son's 2nd birthday this past Saturday, of course I was inspired by the many other cars cakes on cc, thank you! The cake was chocolate fudge with Resses peanut butter cup whipped ganache filling. 10" and 6" 6" gave me trouble as you can see, I was happy overall.

Little boy wanted a cake with a flag on it, so this is what I came up with, the fondant drove me nuts, it's very humid and it just wasn't cooperating! Still haven't heard back from them, hopefully they liked it
batman cake made for 10 year olds birthday. It was for the same women who bought the pink cake, she asked me last night at around 8:30 if it would be pussing it to make a batman cake for her. She needed it by noon today! The logo is a chocolate transfer, my 1st, not as good as I would have liked, was going to do a fbct but not enough time. It turned out ok I thought, it could have been a whole lot better. They loved it though, I guess that's all that matters.
simple cupcakes, small 1 layer 6 inch chocolate cake. Made for a family get together, thank goodness I decided to make them, no one else brought dessert! They were a hit!
1st paid cake, white cake with vanilla pudding for filling, 1/4 sheet. All they said was lots of pink! 5" smash cake.
This was just a practice cake, The real one is going to be made for this Sunday, my 1st paid "stranger cake" I'm not completly happy so thank goodness this wasn't the real thing, she just said pastel with lots of pink(pink is too dark I think), 1st time doing reverse shell and writing.

I made this for a friend that just had a little girl on the 3rd, miniature cupcakes, with small paper flowers. I wanted to use real ones but to pressed for time, My friends husband showed it off and ended up giving out my number to a few people, so hopefull I get some orders!!!
First time making roses, they are on hershey's kisses, you can see the tip of them, o well, I felt like they turned out pretty good.
Humminging bird cake with cinnamon buttercream
This was for my fil's 50th birthday, he loves cherry mash candy. It is a 4 chocolate cake layers filled with cherry mash mousse/ganache, and iced in chocolate bc. I drizzled the non whipped ganche over the top and of course topped it with cherry mash candy! YUM!!
Of course got the idea from here, I made this for my brother's 38th birthday because he always wants grilled burgers for his birthday dinner, he loved it and my dh took a picture of it to show his boss and now she wants one! My first paid cake!

This is a quick cake I did for my husband's birthday yesterday. It is a 2 layer spice cake with crusting cream cheese icing(from this site) Idea was taken from Wilton 2006 yearbook.
And this was his smash cake, he loved it, especially the black icing!
This was my son's 1st birthday cake, it is 2 11x15 put together, half chocolate fudge, and half french vanilla. This is my 1st time doing a buttercream cake and a cake of this size. I had fun and was peased with the outcome.

This was the first time I ever used gumpaste so it wasn't perfect by far! It is supposed to be on a pillow, but it didn't turn out like I wanted it to either, I tryed to cover it with candy melts, wish I would of used fondant now!
This was supposed to be cake in the beggining, decided to use rice crispies and for some reason it wouldn't stay together! The wheel broke just as I was getting ready to leave and it was supposed to be covered in buttercream. O well! It was still cute

This is my 1st doll cake, it was done real fast so the bottom of the skirt is really uneven. I thought it turned out ok besides that. This was only my 2nd time working with fondant, 1st with mmf, I loved it! Any suggestions on how to get the skirt even?
