Beer_Bottles_1.jpg
This was my first ever attempt at sugar bottles! After 6 disasters, I managed to have two bottles! I was rushing to make the molds for the bottles and had a few bubbles in the mold. Turned into a really good mistake as they look like condensation on them! The labels are edible images and the ice was poured sugar as well. The barrel is 12" and 5 layers of Darn Good Chocolate cake with ganache filling.

Monkey_Treehouse.jpg
This was so much fun to do! Base cake was 14" and treehouse was 8" tripple stacked. Shaped the branches out of wire and then fondant covered. Everything else is fondant even the tire swing! My 9 yr. old daughter even got to help me as she rolled each and every one of those bananas. This whole thing was over 3 feet tall when finished.

Winter Wonderland
A picture similar to this cake was brought to me by the bride and I am sorry I don't know who to give my inspirational credit to. Her reception was a beautiful winter wonderland....in July...oh, and I also live in Florida. Go figure. Not one for cake toppers, but this one fit the theme.

First Attempt At Figures
Ok, this was my very first attempt at gumpaste figures and now I'm hooked! So much fun to do. Just like grownup playdoh! CC is full of so much inspiration and I hope to be 1/2 as good as some of the artists found here! These were on top of my Wilton fondant class final cake.

Sophie's Tree Stump
This was my favorite cake to do so far! I traveled 2000 miles to make this one for Ohio's greatest meteorologist, Betsy Kling! Up until this point, their "baby" was their scottie dog named Sophie, so of course she had to be on the cake. C all Buttercream with fondant/gumpaste figures. Inspired by laneysmom
