I MADE A 8' ROUND DOUBLE BARREL CAKE.. (MEANING 2 LAYERS ON TOP, 2 LAYERS ON THE BOTTOM AND USED SEPARATORS AND DOWELS). CRUMB COAT WITH BUTTERCREAM.
MADE A BATCH OF HOMEMADE FONDANT, TINTING IT WITH GOLDEN YELLOW AND A DASH OF BROWN. REACHING A COLOR I LIKED.
MAKE LONG ROLLS OF FONDANT, WRAPPING EACH ONE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.
WITH A TOOTHPICK (OR A FONDANT TOOL) MAKE MARKS ON EACH LAYER AS IF THE PANCAKE MADE AN AIR BUBBLE AND POPPED..
ONCE WRAPPED, MIX BROWN DYE AND VODKA (LIGHT BROWN) (AND/OR EXTRACT) AND USING A SMALL PAINT BRUSH. BRUSH YOUR FONDANT CIRCLING THE CAKE. i USED REAL SYRUP. ALSO MADE BLUEBERRIES FROM COLORED FONDANT.. ROLLED IN A LITTLE WHITE DYE..
