This was my first time doing a bow and i think it turned out pretty well. I know now next time I need to make the strips not as wide, but it came together well. This was a thank-you cake I did for my chiro for the last year of everything she has done for me. I delivered it to her one year after my car accident b/c I woudln't be where I am today without her. 6" yellow cake with 3 layers of strawberry filling and buttercream icing-bow was gumpaste and I used the new Wilton pearl dust to color it pink.

I made this cake for my daughter's teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. It's a scratch white cake with vanilla buttercream & a chocolate transfer dragon. (The dragon is the school's "mascot.") It was a rushed job & I could've done better, but the teachers really seemed to like it!

Thanks for looking! :o)

This is a cupcake cake................My first one!! It is for my son's 3 year old preschool program. It was fun. I made cupcakes 24 of them and then little hands took one then I had 23! LOL! Then I was making a Mothers day cake so I took some of the mix and made 4 more cupcake and ended up with 27! I needed those three extra or I wouldn't of had the room to fit everyone on the cake. The cut outs are out of fondant! It was fun!

This was my son's first birthday cake. The entire cake was "smashed" on one side to look like he had crawled up it to reach his smash cake (the top tier). Each tier was made for a favorite bedtime book: The bottom is Goodnight Moon with lines from the book printed and illustrated around the tier. The next is "I Love You Through and Through" again with the main line printed and the teddy bear from the book. The final tier was "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".

This is a bouquet of 12 cookies for some nurses at the chemotherapy dept of the local hospital from a guy who was going in for his last (hopefully!) session of chemotherapy. The man didn't really have a theme in mind, so I just went with flowers, butterflies & bees. Thanks for lookin'!

6 inch brownie cake, covered in white chocolate (coloured) and chocolate fondant, made as a thank you gift. First time trying out ribbon roses, which were fun, and I was pleased with the effect. Home made truffles. While I've seen a few of these cakes, the main two who inspired this particular one are Suzy40 and bonnscakeAZ. So thank you! They kept the cake an extra day to show it off!

Penny's cut-out sugar cookies with Toba Garrett's glace icing. I did not care for the way the colors ended up looking, but I was just doing a test run anyway. Definitely know not to use those colors now! LOL!

These are baby-themed cookies a friend is giving to her OB-GYN's office as a thank you for their care during her pregnancy. They are NFSC with Antnia's icing. They all say "Thank You" or "Thanks" and each has a small tag attached which says "With Love From" the baby's name.

I took some liberties with the book cover, but it was really fun to make. I did a free hand drawing of the bunnies first and handpainted them after. I was pleased with how it turned out.

I made this for my son's preschool teacher. Immediately after I made this I read about actually baking the sticks in the cookies, works a lot better.

I made this as a thank-you for a friend. The "T-H-A-N-K-S cookies wouldn't fit in the pot and I didn't have time to get a bigger pot. See the additional picture.
