German Chocolate cake w/chocolate mousse filling and BC. I've been wanting to play with my airbrush a little more, and this cake had no 'theme', so I decided to go with bright stripes. Thanks for looking!

I was asked to make a suprise bday cake for my grandmothers 70th bday. Her favorite colors are yellow and blue, and fav. flower is the rose. This was a true test b/c it was the first cake to share with the family. I was so proud of this one. It was devils food and bc. There was not a slice left on the plate.

This was a spur of the moment cake I made to take to my grandparents -- they'd just celebrated their 68th anniversary. For something I whipped up in about an hour or so, it turned out pretty nice!

I made this cake for a friend of mine. I had SO MANY issues with this cake, but the roses were fun! The girl was 8 years old and designed the cake herself. The cake is white cake with mint chocolate chips, the filling is chocolate with crushed up mint candies and the buttercream frosting has a peppermint flavor. I wish I could eat this one. I just can't get a smooth buttercream to save my life! AGH!

I did this for one of my close girlfriends' daughter who just turned 6. She wanted butterflies, so she got them! I had free rein over this cake (YAY - I love that!) so I came up with this and asked Sara what colors she wanted the cake layers. Bottom layer is a dummy. I was going to put the name on top but when I had problems wiring it, I opted for a large butterfly instead. All butterflies are white chocolate with edible marker details, stamens and super pearl dusted on. There are cupcakes too....

Cupcakes to match Sara's cake. My friend was worried we'd have too little cake (even though there were at least 24-30 servings in that cake or so with about 20 ppl) so I used my leftover batter to make some cupcakes. Each kid got to take one home, so that was nice actually. Leftover white chocolate butterflies dusted with super pearl dust. Butterflies made by hand. Cupcakes displayed on the small Wilton stand.

I didn't have the Wilton pan for this cake so it is free-handed and placed on top of a second layer.

A chocolate cake with yellow tinted buttercream. I made this for a goodbye party at my moms work. She is a dispatcher for a tow truck company. Their trucks are blue and yellow so i incorporated it into the cake! This was my first sheet cake of this size and it was definitly very interesting, lol, i had a difficult time with it. I actually havent done another sheet cake since, lol!!! I didnt know how the do the shell border so i did a star border instead and the Tow truck is made of fondant.

This is a cake I made for my DH's work. They were having a party and I volunteered to make a cake. The top teir was WASC with raspberry filling and the bottom was chocolate with heath crunch filling. The pieces around the cake are replicas of the steel parts that they deliver to Genie Industries. Everyone at the party loved the cake and thought it was the best tasting cake they had ever had. That made me very happy. This was the biggest cake I have ever made, it was 11" and 14" tiers. Thanks for looking.

I made this cake for my son's teacher's birthday as a gift. I am bringing it to her in about 20 minutes. I really hope she likes it, I am not happy with it at all. Let me tell any newbies like me out there who see the bows on this site and think " well that would be pretty easy" lol it's not! That bow gave me sooo much trouble, my first one broke, but oh well I learned a lot!! and that is all that matters right now.

6 and 4 inch cakes, buttercream icing and fondant bow and decorations. This was for my son's last day of preschool, and I made it in a HURRY! Bow is not as nice as I would have liked. All students names are on the crayons.

This was a fun cake to make using the large ball pan and mini ball pan. White cake with Lemon Filling and buttercream icing. The white candies are chocolate mints and mini M & M's on top with a Blueberry candy stick and paper ribbon. It was not very easy to smooth the surface of the balls but used a hot knife, wet knife and viva paper towels. Still not happy with the smoothness but my daughter won't mind.

This was a 6" cake made to match a drop flower sheet cake with bold colors. Bride was having small wedding and couldn't afford much, just wanted something simple, so I threw in the small anniversary cake for their 1st anniversary. I hated the color choice, but it was both of their 2nd marriages, so I guess it was laua themed :)

This was a birthday cake for the 18th birthday of my twin sisters. The bottom layer is chocolate with raspberry filling and drizzled with raspberry syrup. The top layer is a white cake with a passion fruit flavored icing filling and drizzled with passion fruit syrup. My second try with fondant. I think I'll take the Wilton fondant course before I try again.
