This cake I made for a celebration party after the Redsox won the world series. Big hit with the Redsox fans - not so much with the yankee fans

My husband's b-day cake, a Yankee fan--he had fun photoshopping it. It was the first 3 D cake for me-I always "experiment" with the family cakes:). Our 9 y/o daughter did the stitches for the baseball. All fondant.

6" White cake with BC. Logos are chocolate transfers. I think I may have over-decorated this cake, but hopefully my neighbor will be happy with it.

I made this cake for my boyfriend for his birthday - he loves the Eagles and the Yankees! It was about 100 degrees outside and my son was not cooperating with me that day - the colors were running! I didn't get a chance to take a pic before we sang to him - only after my neice took a piece off of the cake to smear on his face (bottom right hand corner).

This was done for a friend of mine's daughter. Little one loves the Yankees and wanted a Yankee's cake ~ we compromised and this is what we came up with. Once again I forgot to take a pic, so this is one that was taken after it traveled quite a bit. Everything was torted, white cake and BC icing. MMF covered with dust and a chocolate tiara. Did it in one night, had I had the time I thinkl it would have turned out better - but I am learning.... thanks for looking...

I made this for a customer who bought her husband Yankee's tickets for his birthday. It was hard for me to do -- I'm a huge Red Sox girl! Chocolate/vanilla swirl cake, buttercream and MMF, Nerds for the people in the stands. Thanks to Clink for inspiration and help!

Made this hat for a friends 30th birthday. He is a huge NY Yankees fan. Used sports ball and 6" round pan. Covered with marshmallow fondant. The only thing I was not satisifed with is the bill, it is not wide enough. 2nd picture to follow.
