A command from a kennel owner of Alaskan Malumate. She wanted to have her son on the cake too.
The figurines are made in gumpaste and the igloo is made with a chocolate cake mix with chocolate buttercream.

This cake was done as a thank you for my kids' church group leaders. On the cake board I wrote "Thanks for helping to guide our little nose pickers onto the straight and narrow!" It was a huge hit.

Made this cute couple for a snow globe cake for our mom's group toddler "Frosty's FIesta" winter party. I think they turned out pretty cute. I made the boy and tree and hubby made the girl. Thanks to Aine2 for her wonderful tutorials (Snowman and Christmas tree) and to other inspiring CCers with this idea.

This is the topper I have made for my niece's 2nd Birthday Cake. Instead of the typical "Princess" carriage, I wanted to create something a little different since she was a snow baby, the only little girl on my side of the family and a preemie to boot --a true Princess! This is a fondant covered ball, textured to resemble packed snow. I cut out different sized snowflakes and placed them all about the sphere, dusted the whole thing in super pearl luster dust and sprinkled with snowflake mystical dust. I know there are a lot of carriages out on CC from which I drew inspiration, most being of Debbie Brown's design. I didn't have the book so I drew heavily on those wonderful examples. Thanks to all those who have come before!

This is my very first bouqet on wire. I have made a lot of roses and leaves before, but never a bouqet like this. I am very proud, if I may say so ;-). It is going on a cake for a competition where the theme is winter. Thanks for looking.
