Okay this was a chocolate cake with ganache filling and french buttercream icing and then covered in MMF - my second time making MMF and the first time it's worked! I used the marshmellow creme recipe but didn't add as much powdered sugar.... somehow it worked out okay! It was also my first time trying to use molds - that didn't go so well - when I picked up the MMF, it lost some of its impression - anyone have tips, please PM me! (yes I dusted w/ some powdered sugar)

Snow White is made of color flow. I used the Wilton color mist to "airbrush" the icing pink. I placed a paper heart on the cake and used more color mist to create the heart outline.

This was my first attempt at a purse cake. It is a little messy, but at least I have some experience and will be able to improve and learn from my mistakesnext time. Anyway, my girls loved it!

8 in square choc. choc. chip cake. Crusting cream cheese icing & chocolate buttercream dream icing.Gumpaste letters, bows, & hearts. Hearts say Luv U & Be Mine. This was actually a last minute cake - I had the cakes in the freezer from a previous batter and I had icing left over from a cake I just finished - and I have a Bible study to go to tomorrow - so I got to make a Valentine's Day Cake! It's not perfect, but I think it turned out really good considering that it was last minute! :)

Me and two friends made this cake for my sister-in-law's baby shower. One layer was white cake and one was chocolate, both with raspberry filling. Ready-made fondant to cover and frosting for decorations, except the little pink bears and white booties (store bought). Everyone at the party wanted to know where she bought the cake and were surprised to know that I made it! Of course, I told them I couldn't have done it without the assistance from my friends!

Me and two friends made this cake for my sister-in-law's baby shower. One cake layer was chocolate and the other was white with raspberry filling in both. We used ready-made fondant to cover and decorate, frosting for the trimming. (The booties and little pink teddy bears were store bought.) We were all delighted with how it turned out and many of the guests at the party thought it was made at a bakery!

This is the cake I made for my twin daughters' baby dedication. In the baby carriages, I put pieces of pink satin so it would look like the carriages were lined.

14/10/6" stacked. Small white pearls and large pink pearls made by hand and dusted with pearl dust. White fondant roses stiffened with tylose and made by hand, pink highlights and painted with pearl dust, along with the rest of the cake! Rings on top of cake made with fondant, but not stiff enough so they're drooping! Made a lot of rose petals to scatter all over the cake too, and attached pearls to some of them like they are spilling out

I was having a hard time thinking of a cake to make for a woman at my husbands work. I had never met her. Thanks to _ChristyB_ I made this version of her cake. I tried to make it a little different so that it would be unique. I think that everyone will like it!!

This was the graduation cake I had today. School colors were green and white. Client was shades of green with polka dots and accent of pink. I made the pearl curls with fondant on floral wires. The graduation cap & tassels were made from fondant also. Flavors were all Swedish butter cake; top 2 tiers were chocolate IMBC filling and bottom was strawberry IMBC filling. Served 50.

I made these for my mom's birthday. It was my first time doing mini cakes. I use diamond cutters and cut them out of a 9x13 cake. Thanks for looking!

This cake was inspired by a cake by Gingerela that I saw this past week.
I changed it to what I had available to me. It is White cake, BC filling, black airbrushed fondant, non-edible ribbons and flowers (I started making some gumpaste flowers a few days ago but it had gotten so hot that I could not keep my petals on my wire, it was my first time doing gumpaste roses...I resorted to the old standby of silk flowers from every possible place I could find)

This cake was done for a friend of my cousin. I didn't really have an idea so I decided to try this bassinet. It didn't come out as well as I had hoped but I guess it was O.K. By the time the cake made it to the shower, the mother had made it to the hospital. The little girl decided to come early...they put the cake in the fridge and ate it when mother and baby came home.
