This cake was made for my nephew who had come to visit from the UK and was going on to the Rockies. It represents all the family and it was a hit!

My best friend decided that she just HAD to have a waterfall with REAL WATER on her cake. I said no at first of course, but after a professional cake decorator told me it was impossible I was committed to do it! lol. The cake was passion fruit/guava/papaya with pineapple filling and coconut BC, hence the tropical decorations.

10, 8 & 6" round cakes for the waterfall made out of piping gel. The flowers are silk and the parrots are cardboard. Satellite cakes are a half flower and 2 dolls made with the wonder mold and some $1 store dolls. The sand is brown sugar and the shells are real. The flip flops are candles. The girls names were on the hula skirts and "Feliz Cumpleaños was written on the sand. The mother loved this cake. Things I would change: make water lighter and end with the sand and smaller flowers for the girls.

This one was alot of fun doing. The ice cream cones for the trees, but the most fun was the detail work on the waterfall, especially at the bottom.

This will be the go-to-school cake,a nd we will be decorating the castle cake tonight for the home party. I just love it and it was so much fun to create and to make. Everything but the Dora candle is edible - Buttercream frosting, royal icing flowers, gel water, and fondant stars, leaves, stones and crocodiles. Hoep you enjoy it as much as we do! This is for my son's end of the year luau party. I got most of the ideas from different cakes here on CC. I feel like this is so unoriginal, because I have been planning this thing for so long, looking at waterfall and luau cakes for so long!!

I made this for a combined birthday party for my husband, his brother and brother's wife. All 3 of them love mountains, so what better than a mountain cake? My first attempt at cake sculpting, it was more challenging than I thougt. The splashes of colors on the sides were supposed to look like wild flowers from a distant, I'll do a better job next time :)

Got my inspiration from some other fabulous cakes on this site!! Thank you to the talented idea lenders!! Cake is yellow torted with choc. fudge!! Shells are chocolate and the sand is Brownulated Sugar mixed with organic grain sugar (sparkles). Mixed several shades of blue for the water! I sprinkled "sand" all around when on display table for a great effect!! Enjoy!

This cake was created with two layers. The top layer was cut to allot for the waterfall. Requested by a Native American boy that is very proud of his heritage. Decorations were made of buttercream, candy items and miniature figurines.

This cake took forever, but I was so happy with the way it turned out. Marshmallow fondant "rocks", gumpaste bridge and ladder, colour flow trees, and piping gel tinted blue for the waterfall. The characters were the little boys whom the cake was for. So much fun to decorate!!!

I was in a hurry when I made this so it really didn't turn out as I had planned. The colors turned out pretty wicked after doing some airbrushing. It was great practice for me.

This is my Dora the Explorer waterfall cake. This is a half sheet, 8", and 6" pan. For the trees, I used big pretzel sticks and the grass tip. For the water, I tinted clear piping gel.

I made this for the school where my son went to Kindergarten last year. They have an annual miniature golf tournament fundraiser. I'm donating it as a door prize. I just realized I forgot to put on the black dots for the holes. It's BC w/MMF accents and piping gel for the water. The big rock is made out of krispie treats. The bridge, I got at a cake supply.

This is actually my first full-size cake (9X13)!!!
