This cake is from the Wilton 2006 Yearbook. The only thing done differently, other than the colour of the umbrella, is that the cake is 2 layers instead of 1. This way, I was able to sculpt it a bit, as well as feed more people. A lot of fun!

This was a 16" cake cut in half and stacked with buttercream icing and royal icing flowers. I used a lollipop stick cover with an antique gold ribbon (leaving about 2 inches w/out ribbon in order to stick it in the cake). did the same on the other for the top of the umbrella.

Used a Wilton idea but revised to make enough for many more people - stars and baby were cookies.

Umbrella cake made from 12" round cut in half and stacked. The handle is a fat dowel decorated with ribbon and pearls. Mini present cakes are made from mini loaf pan cakes cut in half and stacked. Decorated with ribbon and bows. Inside each present is a charm attached to a ribbon for each of the bridesmaids to pull out as a keepsake.

This was for my nephew's baby shower and my SIL-to-be. I designed the image by using images that I found online and then meshed them all together. It was all buttercream and the cake was a Darn Good Chocolate Cake by the Cake Dr. It went quick!

This is the final cake (I have posted the first also). Some changes - we have the "cedar" adirondack chair, the umbrella, some airbrushed waves, seafoam writing....everyone RAVED about the cake! :) It made it all worthwhile! However, nobody noticed that the icing had started to droop on the side a little...because I shoved a fondant shell right on top of that spot! :P Ahh, the things you learn to cover! Very sorry I had posted the wrong photo before.

This cake was ordered by a woman who wanted to surprise her hubby. She wanted to celebrate their anniversary by reliving their honeymoon. She wanted a beach themed cake for the occasion. The dog is a puppy that he is supposed to be giving her as an anniversary gift. If not she has an easy one to take care of now! Chocolate cake with buttercream. Fondant figures and gumpaste chairs.

I made this baby shower cake for a lady at church. The thing that people made the most comments about was the rain drops - and they are just clear gel! I think they were amazed that they looked so much like real water drops.

I make these cookies to match my business logo. Had several chocolate orders for Halloween and I bagged the cookies, attached a business card to the top and put one in each order. I thought they turned out kinda cute ..... had to cute the cookies and then flip the cutout over on the baking sheet, as my logo has the umbrella handle facing the other way! Still new at this cookie thing, but I'm enjoying it!

I was asked to make a cake for a baby shower, my first shower cake ever! Mom-to-be is expecting a girl, and wants everything pink and white. She is having a care bears theme, which I wasn't sure how to incorporate into this cake. It's a chocolate cake with buttercream icing, Care bears deco candies, and chocolates around the cake board.

My attempt at a Sugarshack cake (which of course is way out of league) so I had to adapt it to my skill level. The Mom-to-be seemed to like it. Top layer Lemon cake, bottom layer white cake with raspberry filling.

I made these cookies for a friend at work for her daughter's baby shower. She told me at the last minute that she wanted her daughter's name on them so I had to improvise with the wafer paper ribbons. They look ok but I was dissappointed that they took away from some of the designs. Thanks for looking!

Mother-to-be's chosen theme was Care Bears, with pink and white as the chosen colors. Cake was made in the shape of an umbrella, with the baby's name across the back of the cake, and the parents names and best wishes on the top. The cake was strawberry banana, tinted pink, with buttercream frosting. The cake board was covered in pastel colored baby footprints wrapping paper, covered with clear contact paper. Along the board were pink and white chocolate rattles, diaper pins, teddy bears, rocking horses, etc
