My daughter's favorite pixie on her birthday cake. All the decorations are fondant except for Silvermist. The top oval tier is covered in marble blue fondant to represent the talent of Silvermist as a water fairy. The bottom tier is marble green to represent the meadows of Pixie Hollow. All the flowers were handmade. Thank you to everyone who gave me some help on who to make the water lilies.

This was a cake I made for my younger sister's sweet 16 birthday party. I didn't have much time to do it and no planning whatsoever, but I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. She loved it. Bottom tier was chocolate and top was white with vanilla frosting all over.

This is my first wedding cake order!! The couple had the wedding topper made by someone on ebay. It's a simple two tiered round wedding cake covered in MMF with MMF beads along the border. The roses are Duff style roses made of fondant and gumpaste. The leaves are fondant and gumpaste also.

This was a vintage themed wedding, so this was my best shot at a vintage cake. Everything is done in buttercream.

This is my first wedding cake ever. This is actually a pic of the side of the cake by the photographer. My pics got deleted on my camera. Bumps in fondant happened after customer picked up during travel. Top tier White, bottom Chocolate with MMF covered buttercream.

This is my first attempt at fondant. I made this cake as a practice cake for my daughter's first birthday. I will make the real one with darker shades of pink and purple and with a fuller bow (I ran out of fondant). I made it with MM fondant and buttercream icing for the dots and name.

This was my first practice faux cake. I covered craft styro with fondant and glued them together. I used gumpaste for the flowers and hearts, and fondant/gumpaste mix for the decorations. I didn't trim my stripes before they set and ended up with that bump in my pearl border. Lesson learned! Thanks for looking.

Hi There!

I got invited to my friend's church potluck, so I made this! It is much more traditional than my other cakes - but still handpainted! I loved doing the bow. It is my very first two tier cake and it is a little off center as far as the tilt of the cake, but I'm happy with how I slid it back on the bottom tier because it gave a more contemporary look and room to write! It says "Give Thanks" if it does not appear on the picture.

Covered in Swiss Meringue Buttercream Frosting, this two-tier octagon cake was carved from two 14-inch by 3-inch round cakes. It is simply decorated in candy dots and sprinkles. The flowers are made of gumpaste with vanilla wafer faces, painted with black airbrush color. The center dowel has a fiber-optic light attached at the top, to simulate a sprinkler watering the flowers.

I made this for my neighbor's little girls 5th birthday part. It's two 12 in rounds and two 8 in rounds. BC icing with MM fondant accents. Crown was supplied by her mom, it's plastic. She loved the cake and I am happy with how it turned out!

This cake was made for a friend's birthday. A two-tier 4" and 6" funfetti cake with white chocolate frosting, covered with MMF (only bottom, didn't have enough MMF to cover the top tier) and decorated with MMF pink and green polka dots.

This was a simple cake red velvet b/c filling and fondant, the flowers were shipped from Hawaii and mob asked if I would place them, they were wilted when she received them so I chose the best ones I could find. The MOB showed up an hour before and I felt I needed to hurry. I have now learned to have it done at least an hour before if I can. The picture was sent by mob since I was unable to take a photo. The flowers were definately fresher before she left with the cake. The Monogram was a template I made and cut the letters of their names from fondant and highlighted with yellow. TFL

This is a cake I did for a little bub's 5th birthday party. It is a 14" and 10" double layer two tier vanilla almond scratch cake with chocolate ganache filling, buttercream, fondant and semi-sweet chocolate plastic accents. Fun stuff! It also as a dusting of luster dust, hard to see I know!

This was for a 6 year old's birthday party. She wanted "grown up princess". I did borrow this design from one of you great cakers out there, Cricket8923. I used different colors and changed it a little bit so that I wouldn't copy you exactly. Thanks for the great example!

High heel shoe crafted entirely of gumpaste using one of my shoes as a starting point for the style of shoe. The design itself is my own, with an imprint on the vamp and a sassy little bow on the side. Used cooking spray to give the shoe its shine. The tiers are french vanilla filled with strawberries and vanilla buttercream covered in vanilla marshmallow fondant.

At 3 or 30, chocolate and pink are a girl's best friend. My first topsy turvy, so I'm thinking it could have gone a little more topsy or a little more turvy, but I stayed a little on the safer side. Brown is chocolate marshmallow fondant. Pink is vanilla marshmallow fondant. Base is double layer classic white filled with vanilla buttercream; top double layer dark chocolate filled with vanilla buttercream. Tapered the base at the bottom and slightly angled at the top; tilted the top by adding a half circle of fondant underneath (approx. 1" thick at the edge and shorter going in.
