This cake has all handmade, gumpaste decorations. Three tiers - bottom tier was 14 inches, middle tier was 9 inches, top tier was 7 inches. Top tier had bonfire on top but did not come out in picture.

Mountain Autumn Wedding Cupcake Tower. Chocolate Devil's food cake and cupcakes with Raspberry Filling then covered in rich Butter Cream. Cake is covered in MMF and dusted with luster dust. The leaves are made of MMF and dusted, as well.
I made the cupcake tower by stacking plates with bowls in between. Worked great!

Used GFS pre-cut dough for the first time to save on time/cost. I don't really care for the way they puff up and change shape so I pressed them flat when they came out of the oven (to keep my RI from dripping off) They taste AWESOME though and the time saved was well worth it!

This is a close up of the characters on my MIL's cake. She had recently had surgery on her foot, so I thought the walking cast on her foot was a cute touch. The leis around their necks are fondant flowers threaded with a sewing needle and thread. Thanks for looking!

This was my first attempt at making a 3D tree. I used 3 dowel rods (1/4 in) taped together for the trunk. Then used floral wire to shape the branches. Covered in fondant/gumpaste with gumpaste accents. TFL!
