This cake was a little over two feet tall. The top red and silver layers are cake. The head is styrofoam. And the rest is all rice crispies.

This was for my son's 5th birthday and was a real crowd pleaser. The body is cut out from a 13x9 cake and the head was formed from the scraps. I made 1/2 batches of red, white and blue MMF. The yellow accents I colored from the white MMF. I stuck Autobot rings on the arms rather than trace the insignas. No icing (except a crumb coat), only MMF on the entire cake.

I made this for my son's birtday. I tried the color spray Wilton makes. It would be better for misting a light color on cupcakes or something. There was too much detail on this cake for it too work very well.

I've just finished my husband's birthday cake. He's a big transformers fan, so I went with Optimus Prime. I think his head is quite bad really, but the best I could do.

For the son of a friend of mine for work. He loves the Transformers so I did a half chocolate, half vanilla sheet cake (10x15x3") with FBCTs.

I'm pretty proud of this because I drew it free hand. I don't know how to draw (except stick men) so I was pretty pleased with this. It a red velvet cake with white icing and then cream cheese frosting. I've put little sprinkles in all the different parts of the face.

I was asked to do a Transformers birthday cake, and I was stumped. I had no clue how to make a transformer. I finally found a coloring book page, and used my cake projector. I think it turned out pretty cute....for a transformer, anyway...haha.

I was asked to do an Optimus Prime cake. The bottom cake is an 11x15 iced in bc and decorating like welded metal. Optimus Prime was carved from an 11x15 cake by the hands of my DH. Then I iced him in bc, tried to add some piping detail but as you can tell piping is a weakness of mine. The best part is my DH wired some led lights into the cake for eyes, so he had little lights for eyes.

Done for my brother who's birthday is tomorrow!! He's almost 30 but in our family transformers are a great past-time and in honor of the new movie, I figured I'd do this. He's 18 inches tall, supported with a stick in the back. Lower body is rice krispie treats (great for support), top half is pina colada flavored cake with coconut icing. arms are made with fondant covered wafers, which were painted because my airbrush blew and i ran out of the right "red" coloring.

My son wanted a truck cake for his birthday, and after seeing Transformers, he decided it had to be Optimus Prime, leader of the good guys. This was baked in the Wilton angel food loaf pan with a slightly carved front. My first time carving a cake, so I was a little nervous about hacking away too much. If I had to do it again, I would outline the trailer with a darker color to define the edges, and outline all the flames in black instead of white--but my son hates the black taste, so that was his call.

Chocolate Fudge Cake with Oreo Filling (yummy!), BC and CT. This is the first time I tried a CT - turned out pretty good. Would have worked better had my oldest son not misplaced the heating pad, kids - lol!! The flames are on all sides of the cake as well, also CT. Birthday boy LOVED it! He originally wanted Optimus Prime then he made it "easier" for me with this icon.

first cake I made in ks with my tilting oven and the high humidity making the cake slide and the fbct not harden for me. over all I think it turned out well and the birthday boy liked it not bad for something that I did just for cost of supplies.

This was straight before it got transported, it shifted in route, but I was able to cover up the cracks with extra icing hehe :) Autobot icon on one side and Decepticon icon on the other side. Birthday boy loved it and that is all that matters!
