This cake was made for my best friend's birthday. She adores briliant colors so she loved it. there were two cakes an 8-in (brandy) and a 5-in (chocolate) cake. The one in the picture is the 5-in and this is the only picture of the cake I got to take. the bigger cake had the candles spelling "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on it but it was exactly the same decoration as the small one.

This order was for a lady that wanted cookies decorated as Christmas toys. She will be putting them in a white organza bag (It is for a tablescape theme). The drum, toy soldier and boat cookies were handcut, hence the rough edges.

Buttercream & airbrush. I cut out the shape of the picture from card board and blocked the area that isn't black. After spraying black, I used a projector to draw buzz and then added his coloring. This technique is great for doing neon colors to really make them pop!

I found out from these photos that the mom had added the "4" candle after I delivered the cake...which, to me, wasn't necessary...but, hey, it's her cake! The best part was Michael was *thrilled*!

I made this cake to look like Andy's bedroom with a lot of the characters all around the bed. The bed is a cake also with Hershey bars as the head board and foot board. The pillows are shortbread cookies dipped in white chocolate. My 3 year old cousin that I made it for could not wait to take the toys off!

Here is my first cupcake cake. It was for my son and is of the Space Ranger emblem found on the sleeve of Buzz Lightyear's uniform. My son is a HUGE Toy Story fan and loved the cake. Emblem was free handed with bc icing.

Ball is covered in fondant and painted with petal dust, blocks are covered in fondant, decorated in buttercream, Goodnight Moon is made from buttercream, "smash cake" is all buttercream. I must admit I had to upload so many views because I really did love how this whole thing turned out! The display with the real blocks and toys came out so cute.

They say imitation is the sincerist form of flattery, so I am really flattering lauracox79. I loved her cake, so I copied it for a friend's little boy. I think it turned out pretty well, except for the little mishap the birthday boy had with a crater. I fixed it before it when to the table, but not before my friend snapped this picture

The water is piping gel tinted with blue. The floats are rolled buttercream. The customer told me which floats they had, so that is what I made so the child would know it's supposed to be his pool.
