Strawberry cake covered in MMF .. I used my 3" pans in 12 and 10 inch round sizes.... this was a birthday cake for my husband's great niece, Zoe who turned 4 years old.. the Tinkerbell at the bottom was actually a keychain that I took the chain off of and stood on the side of the cake :)

I got the idea from ntertayneme (thanks again!). This is two 8 inch cakes and one 10 inch cake. I used the crusting buttercream (doing the faux fondant look) and MMF for the writing, balls, hearts, and flowers.

Huge mess. Took forever, because I had to keep adding things to cover mistakes. Am happy with results, but am trying to forget about it.

I made this for my husband's 28th birthday. We threw a huge party, all Tinkerbell themed. He says that Tinkerbell is the hottest cartoon character ever...

Buttercream Transfer of Tinkerbell. I used a white outline on it inside of the standard black as I have done on most BCT.

This was a Tinkerbell cake done for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. I didnt' do it myself, but I loved what the pastry shop did (Mazurs at Lyndhurst, NJ). They did an amazing job at doing exactly what I had envisioned for my little girl! She absolutely loved the cake, and people kept raving about how good it was!

It was a white cake with dulce de leche filling and rolled fondant. I found the cake top at the Disney Store. It's actually a Tinkerbell ceramic candle holder I got 2 days before!

Another view of the Tinkerbell cake for my daughter's 2nd birhtday party! It was done by Mazurs Bakery in Lyndhurst, NJ. I did everything else for the party (petit fours, candy, lollipops, decorations, cupcakes, etc.). I just didn't have time to do the cake this time around! ;-)

I made this cupcake tower for my daughter's second birthday party. It was a Tinkerbell Party, so I put a bendable Tinkerbell on the top cupcake; I found it at my local party supply store. It was actually a keychain. All the kids loved it!

This cake was done for my daughters 25th birthday. All icing is butter rum. The cake was carrot cake. Tinkerbell, was drawn on rice paper with edible marker and then filled in with Wilton Decorating gel. Very good and easy technique. It wasn't my original plan but, I was very satisfied with the end result. I also have to add, this cake was done in 3hrs 20 minutes. (From baking the cakes to the last decoration.

This cake was made for my cousin's daughter's second birthday. It took me over 8 hours to make. My first tiered cake, but all around i think i did pretty good with it.

I made the cake topper all by myself, too...that's what i am especially proud of.

This was for my best friends' girl who turned 3. She loves tinkerbell, so this is what I came up with. I think it was a little more "grown-up" then for a 3 year old, but she didn't seem to mind. Again, Tink is printed out, and prettied up with some edible glitter.

I loved how this one turned out. The top is MMF and the skirt is all BC. If I had more time I would have figured out some sort of wings for her.

I hated the way the color is on the sides... it was supposed to be pink but came out more red. Other than that, I am pretty proud of the cake.

Tinkerbell cake for my cousin. The tinkerbell is made of colorflow, with cake sparkles on the wings attached. Fondant border and fondant flowers covered in sugar sparkles. The flowers on the wires on the top tier were really difficult to keep attached...I swore that I would never do a cake like this again. But it ended up turning out so well that I will probably do it again. lol. It would be nice to start getting

This is an all buttercream Tinkerbell cake for my cousins 9th B-day. My aunt is supposed to put a small Tinkerbell figure in the center of the flower. That is why you don't see any Tink on here. On one side it does have Tink's name in white. So the only actual tink is going to be in the flower; I hope I get a pic of it with Tink! I couldn't make the party :( Added the slightly darker roses after done. just thought they added a little more character.
