Sorry pix is dark! Didn't feel like replacing all the burned out bulbs in my kitchen. Used the 3D Wilton train pans and the Wonder mold pan. Sign is candy melts on a dowel.

I made this cake for my son because he is a HUGE Thomas fan and I needed to use up some left over icing before it ruined. He helped a little bit.

This is a picture of my son's 3rd birthday cake. Wow...was it absolutely difficult - why? I'm not so sure, probably exhaustion! About 2 a.m. I decided the plastic trees would have to work. Thanks to Klsrtr for the inspiration. I saw that someone else did the cake as well and it's definitely much better than mine! Hopefully, next year, he'll choose something easier!

This was for my mom's coworker's nephew. This is actually the practice cake. Believe it or not I forgot to take a picture of the actual cake (which came out SO MUCH BETTER). I really didn't take the time to make this one perfect, because it was only the practice cake. It was a big hit & my first paying job.

This was not a nice cake to decorate and even though I was happy with the result I would not like to do it again.

It is too complicated to go into too much detail but if you want more let me know and I will reply.

This was made for a little boy who liked both Thomas & Bob and his mom couldn't make her mind up which one to have as the cake. I decided to make Bob as the model and gave him a hammer so it would look like he'd put the sign up.

I made a 3D Thomas last year for a friend's son, so this year I decided to do a patchwork.

This half sheet cake was made for a 3 year old. His grandpa stated that all he wanted for his birthday was anything with Thomas the Tank on it ...even if it was a sock the kid would be satisfied. Well I made him a cake with Thomas on it and he was beaming with excitement.

This is my second cake, I made it for my sons girlfriends little boy who loves Thomas. I am disappointed with the face. Somewhere between an alien and a pumpkin. I printed out a picture, then traced it onto the cake.
But when he saw the cake he got a big smile and was all excited. So that made me feel a little better.

Madeira cake with sugarpaste. Used Debbie Brown design. Had some trouble with the wheels because my cake did not have the same height as hers, but otherwise her instructions were great! Used my sugargun for the first time, what a pleasure!

This cake was made for a girl's birthday so I tried to make yellow the main color instead of blue. All is done in buttercream icing. The top layer was supposed to be a helicopter pad for Harold, but it didn't show up too good once I got Harold on there.

This was a cake for my cousion's 2nd birthday - hence the 2 on the cake instead of the normal 1. This was a fun cake to make - I need work on the wheels though - I saw some tips like using donuts - I will give that a try next time! He saw himself as the conductor and flipped out!

I did this one from someones amazing cake on this site! You are some very talented ladies...thanks you all! I only omited the 3-d thomas and did the regular engine...the client had a budget, and the 3-d engine did not fit within it!

This is my first time "building" a cake. It was much easier than I thought. I have an injured thumb and I still was able to do a fairly good job. I got the plastic pieces from Sugarcraft. The face is a dvd carrying case and it came with a dvd.
