This is my version of member boween's spongebob cake. I don't use fondant much so the fondant pieces were a little challenge. Overall I think it came out pretty good. I love cake central !!!!!!!

This is my first whimsical cake. I fell in love with this design after browsing through cake decorating links. I believe it was Sweet Creations that originally designed this cake. I'm quite pleased with the end result, my girlfriend who was the recipent of the cake was blown away, and what more can you really ask for?! I can't wait to make another!

This is my first attempt of a wedding fall theme cake. The roses and leaves are made of fondant. The cake per request was a spice cake with cream cheese frosting under the fondant cover. The colors were specific to a fall theme. My daughter is requesting that I make her wedding cake and this was my first trial cake. We used it for her engagement party. I found that using a garland marker is harder to cover than making the garland free hand and I still need a lot of practive to make a square cake.

I had to attempt making this super cute cake after spotting it on a cake website. Regretfully, I can't remember where, so if it was your original idea, thank you! I thought it turned out really cute. Thanks for looking!

I did this cake for a co-worker's son's 11th Birthday. He's addicted to the online game Rune Scape.
The Sword, Stones and Rocks with Letters are all Fondant, the Sword has Luster Dust on it.
The Dragon is Color Flow - He took forever do do because of all the colors.
Chocolate Buttercream tinted to look like cement.
The cake was a big hit! Enjoy!

I did this castle for my daughter's 9th birthday. This is my first fondant cake. And the castle didn't come out any where close to what I pictured in my head. haha. But she was happy. The first two layers are chocolate and the bottom layer is golden. For the turrets I used ice cream cones, both regular and sugar. And then I used the Wilton Color Mist or what I like call "edible spray paint".

This was for an Asian wedding where the grooms family had organised everything. Bride was asked a week before the wedding if she had ordered a cake. She hadn't - so asked if I could make something - left the design to me.

My nephew wanted a Halloween cake for his bday. I used Vanilla buttercream. I wanted to acheive a spooky look for the cake but, the BC took forever to harden. I think that it turned out nicely.

I got my inspiration for this cake from several cakes on CC, but I
especially enjoyed the one created by Pattyasken. 8" & 12' round
airbrushed buttercream and fondant disco ball and records. The
cake was taken to the Children's Museum for an 8-year olds party.

This cake has all handmade, gumpaste decorations. Three tiers - bottom tier was 14 inches, middle tier was 9 inches, top tier was 7 inches. Top tier had bonfire on top but did not come out in picture. Will add another view of this cake to this site.

For an Ohio State themed wedding reception. I was a bit nervous about a whole tier being red icing, but it seemed to work out okay. Experienced bakers....I am open to any suggestions or critiques as I am working really hard on taking more wedding cake orders and branching out my business...And my DH took the lovely crooked picture :) TFL!!

6in, 9in and 12in Hexagons. Decorations are made using gumpaste or fondant gumpaste blend. My brother made the stands under the 6in and 9in cakes. Thank you to those that helped me with ideas for this one. :)
