This is my 2nd T.T.T. cake. This was for a client. I made this one about 1/5 the scale of my original one and this one is covered in Satin Ice Fonant whereas the first one was covered completely in BC. I also airbrushed this cake vs. dying the fondant which I feel produced much deeper and richer color! The new techniques of fondant and airbrushing allowed me to cut my work hours in half on this cake. Which is good because I had four cakes due this week!

I changed the picture uploaded to one that is a little less dark. This was for a friend's son who was turning 5. She just told me that the theme was army and this is what I made. I didn't have to carve at all because of the pans I used - I was really happy about that!! Vanilla cake with BC frosting and a cookie "gun". Thanks for looking!!

I made this tank for my son's 8th birthday. I baked a 12x12 square, froze it and cut it and carved it for the bottom and covered in mmf. Then placeda mmf covered board on top. Then placed a carved 11x7 cake on top. Covered with mmf and placed a 6 in round on top. Used a dowel for the cannon. Covered regular and mini oreos for the wheels. Tracks made from mmf as well.

This was a replica of a kawasaki motorcycle gas tank made for a mans 50th birthday. He said it looked identical to his real one, which made me happy considering this was my first carved cake.

I made this in a class with help from a great tutor. I haven't had a chance to try it again on my own. It started as a square sponge that was cut up then stacked and then with a small amount of carving Thomas appeared, he was then covered in fondant.

I made this Thomas the Tank Engine cake for my two sons birthday. It was a chocolate cake carved from rectangles. It was covered in a light buttercream layer and then draped with MMF, the coal is rolled MMF, It took forever but was well worth it for the looks on their faces!! :)

I have been asked to do so many Thomas the Train cakes that I needed to do something different. I saw similar designs on other websites (Cake Nouveau and also another site I thought was Sweet Art Cake Design, but now I don't see the cake on their site, so I am not sure...sorry!) It was pretty fun and easy to do, but since I didn't ask for much money, it took me longer than it should have! LOL!
