My great nephew wanted a Buzz cake so here is my effort, thanks to all CC cakes I got inspiration from. I feel like I cheated by using a Buzz figure, but after the attempt at the spaceship it just had to be... bottom is 1/2 sheet Chocolate Almond Sour Cream Wedding Cake recipe with buttecream icing, spaceship is the WASC covered in fondant (haven't done the fondant since the Wilton class as you can tell) details are fondant. Thanks for looking!

It's a 10 inch chocolate cake filled with ganache filling. I used fondant, added with gum text, and covered a cardboard to do the headboard of the bed.

The figurines are all toys, supplied by the birthday boy's mum

This is my second FBCT. Halfway through my 3 hour ordeal, I swore that I will never do one again-especially with so much detail! But I really like how it came out, so there is hope that I will try it again.

I made this cake for my son's 4th birthday. This was my second attempt at Frozen buttercream transfers. Each one took me about an hour to make. The day of the party I just baked the cake frosted it and placed the characters on top. No staying up until 3 the night before.

Well had a customer who wanted a Buzz Lightyear cake. We discussed the fact that this was a copyrighted image so I couldn't do it. We came up with a cake that I would decorated and she added her own toy to it to be able to have a Buzz Lightyear cake. I am pretty happy with how this whole project turned out. Comments most definitely welcomed. I want to thank susgene here on CC. I was inspired by a similar cake she did with Buzz Lightyear.

Buttercream icing. Traced images from colouring pages. Star tip #13 and number 2 and #1 tips used for outlines. It took some time but I finally managed to pull it together.

Fondant figures took forever, but I'm happy with the way they came out.

Got the idea from another CC member, thank you!

Here is little goldilocks sleeping in "Baby Bears" bed. The picture doesn't do it justice. The cake was huge! The baseboard was 28"x20" and the wall was 14" tall. Everything you see was pretty much edible. The floor and wall were covered with fondant. the headboards were made from fondant. Floors and chests were painted with vanilla and brown to give the the wood look. The honey pots are filled with piping gel. LOVE THIS CAKE! It's now my favorite of all time! The customers were blown away!

The headboard is made of gumpaste and it and the fondant floor has icing color painted directly onto them. I cute the floor in sections(not all the way through) to get the hardwood floor look.

Two-tiered cake for my son's 3rd birthday - Buzz themed. Thanks for all the inspiration from CC'ers on this one! There's a hand-carved moon behind that flag, although kind of hard to see. Moon is covered in fondant - everything else is buttercream w/ fondant accents.

This is my first ever attempt at creating a cake for my son. Obviously he loves Buzz, but I wanted something different than his picture on a cake. So, I can up with creating the space ship box the Buzz toy is in from Tpy story. Frosting out of a can (I didn't know any better then) and Airheads for the wings. I would probably do it a bit different after some experience, but he loved it.

This is a 9 x 13 sheet cake, the bed is made from a 6-inch square. The bedding, head & foot board and the floor are all made from MMF, everything else is BC. This was my first attempt at carving out wood planks for a floor, I was so happy with the results. All the characters are toys my customer gave me to use.
