I made this cake for my brother's 17th birthday. I used the new stadium pan from Nordicware, and then carved the cake to make the famous "Horseshoe" shape. I used the "Durable Cake for 3D and Wedding Cakes" recipe with chocolate cake mix. I frosted it with store-bought Wilton Decorator icing that I tinted gray, dark gray, and red. The scoreboard and field were made by my sister on the computer. To give you some idea of the scale, the "crowd" was made using Wilton colored non-pareils.

The Nordicware stadium bundt pan. After baking I realized I didn't have any cake boards left, otherwise I would have done the field area green. The pan overflowed a bit so the bottom edge is a little rough where I had to trim it.

Sorry-the other picture was too small! Everything was modeled out of fondant-my first time modeling, ever!!!! The food aroudn the base of the cake is peanuts, beer, a hotdog, hamburger, popcorn, cotton candy and pretzels. The groom is a professional umpire, so the picture is him meant to look like a baseball trading card.I forgot to mention that at the top where the flags are, there are sparklers, so when they were lit, they looked like fireworks!

Made these for the HUGE UofM/OSU game. These were made from the Nordicware stadium pan, and I printed up the scoredboards and fields, which I laminated. Nonpariels for the people. White Sour Cream cake and Durable 3d cake, both from this site. Special Thanks to Britton (I used your Buckeye cake for ideas, thx :).

OSU Stadium cake I made for our neighborhood annual BEAT MICHIGAN party. No one wanted to eat it, they thought it was part of the decorations.

Stadium is Nordicware pan, blimp is two footballs iced together. Unfortunately the blimp took a header into my dashboard (insert tears here!), but I was able to smooth it pretty well. Thank goodness it didn't hurt the lettering on the front!

This was a rectangular pan and I cut 1/3 of it off to form the stadium. I put the stadium on a slab of rice krispies to give it height. The eagles logo is a buttercream transfer. I still need a lot of work with them, but this was my very 1st try at it. The "signs" are mmf w/ icing writing. Thanks for looking

I did this cake for the high school band banquet this year. My brothers roped me into doing it and last years band banquet cake...both years no body would cut the cakes....grrrr.... Anywho it is is all cake and butter cream except the orange stars are fondant...They read WE LOVE OUR BAND in the stands. On the front is Go Band and music notes are all around it. This an actual replica of what our football stands somewhat look like...you can't see it but on the back of the cake it has the staircase.

I made this for a customer who bought her husband Yankee's tickets for his birthday. It was hard for me to do -- I'm a huge Red Sox girl! Chocolate/vanilla swirl cake, buttercream and MMF, Nerds for the people in the stands. Thanks to Clink for inspiration and help!

Buttercream icing with fondant over the bleachers. The first attempt cracked. I repaired it and cut the bleachers and covered with fondant. This cake was pretty much a disaster! Hopefully I'll get better quick!

This was done using a 16X16 and cutting to shape and icing with butter cream. The people in the stands are sprinkles. I used card stock, markers and sucker sticks for the lights and the scoreboard. I've also done a scaled down version using a 9 X 13.

This cake design was based off of one I saw right here on Cake Central. The football was made out of rice Krispies so it would keep it's shape. I rolled it on the counter to smooth it out, then covered it with fondant. To get the texture on the football, I used an actual football and pressed it on the fondant.

This was a Chocolate Kalua Cake I made for the tailgate party last Sunday. I used a staduim pan that I received as a Christmas gift. I'm not a big fan of these ornamental pans because you can't ice them very well since you loose the detail. My kids helped me put on the mini M&M's to look like fans. The cake brought good luck since the Colts did win! I will have to make another cake for the Super Bow-- hopefully they will win it tool!!! My fellow Colt's fans loved the cake and it tasted deliciou

This cake is my representation of a similar cake. A co-worker wanted a cake for her daughter's birthday and she was including the entire softball team. She saw this one and thought it would be perfect. I cannot remember the name of the poster, however, "Thank you" for sharing your photo and inspiring others. The girls loved it!

Thanks to Clink for the awesome design and instructions!!! Since mine didn't need to be as large, I used an 8" square pan for the foundation and field. I had a football stadium pan that I dissected and used for the bleachers. It worked rather nicely! The field is covered in fondant but mostly evertything else is covered in bc.

I did this cake for my cousin's wedding reception. He wanted something UGA and was thrilled when he saw this cake. It was pound cake with buttercream and chocolate buttercream icing. This was my first cake larger than just a stacked 1/2 and 1/4 sheet cake. I was pretty excited with the outcome. Thanks for looking!
