Inspired by Bakerilla from the Martha Stewart Show. I didn't exactly use her recipe, used truffles instead, and they came out cute. My pink candy melts came out too thin.

Saw these on Martha Stuart and wanted to make them. They were so yummy and turned out really cute. They are chocolate cake with hot fudge, then the bottom is dipped in milk chocolate (then put the stick in)and the top is dipped in white chocolate (tinted different colors)....sprinkles on top and their done!!

Tri colored cuppies with whipped icing and sprinkles. I made these for my students on the last day of school, but they would be perfect for a child's birthday!

I was bored, very bored lol. I would have loved to do more like this because I thought they looked pretty cute when done, but they took so long! Sorting out sprinkles and placing them on cookies is not the funnest thing lol! Any suggestions/comments welcome! Thanks for looking!

I wanted to have a cake for my daughter's birthday at her kindy. The carers said they would prefer no icing and a plain cake. So this is what I came up with. The mini cupcakes are butter cake topped with a small dollop of strained apricot jam and sprinkles. I couldn't resist some sort of decoration.
The iced mud cake was for the staff.

My husband loves chocolate, so when I gave him a choice of two kinds of cake, he of course, wanted both! This is a 4-layer cake... alternating Chocolate Chunck and Triple Chocolate Chunck layers. I made a super-delicious, milk-chocolate, cinnamon frosting. YUMMMM!!!! Nothing too fancy about it, just simple and delicious. In fact, I just used the pastry bag with a snipped tip that I used to fill between the layers to pipe the detail along the bottom edge. I really liked the simple, uneven waves it created.

This is an 11x15 iced in Indydebi's buttercream. Snow White is a chocolate transfer. I was very proud of how it turned out..........except she doesn't have a nose! I didn't even notice until the cake was finished. I went back and checked the picture I used and she didn't have a nose there either! Oops! :-)

That's right, Tim Horton's good old vanilla dip, giant and made into wedding cake. That's what they wanted!! Yes those sprinkles are all made out of fondant and if i never see another tiny fondant ball again it will be way too soon! The tiny donut in the foreground is a real life version of what I was going for to give you an idea.

A Mickey Mouse cake for my son's third birthday (the family party). The bottom is an 8-inch chocolate cake with fudge filling and IMBC. The top is a half ball pan with chocolate fudge frosting and black sugar sprinkes. The ears are cardboard. The stars are MMF (the wired ones have lustre dust). I had fun with this one, although the IMBC was a bit soft when I was piping the border. Thanks for looking!
