Chocolate dome cake spider with legs made using swiss cake rolls. The spider hovers over a cupckae web. Using a wilton cake decorating cake stand that tilts, I was able to angle the spider over the web for a cool effect.

Wilton Mummy Cake "All Wrapped Up". My 8 y.o. son had a blast helping with this. This was one of the easiest Cakes I've ever done. This really is fun and simple to do, highly recommend doing this with your kids, they will love helping, was lots of fun!!White cake baked in metal mixing bowl, crumb coated with chocolate frosting and wrapped in fondant with candy clay spider, we used black licorice for the legs and rice cereal and marshmellow eyeballs (royal icing for whites & blood vessels and M&Ms for iris)

Made this cake 5 years ago for my son's 5th birthday. This was the first 3D cake I made. Since then I've tried to get better and improve my techniques.

I don't know where to put this - birthday cakes, or Halloween cakes. This is a cake for my friend. We all LOVE Halloween, and do our own haunted house every year. He turned 22 yesterday, and this was my gift to him. Choc. cake w/ white choc cream cheese filling, buttercream icing. All bats, ghosts, skull, and tombstone are made from Tootsie Rolls. Hope he likes it!

The cake is a 9in and a 6in madeira covered in fondant. It was for a halloween themed birthday party and the only request was it was similar to the castles I had previously made them. I enjoyed modelling the pumpkins etc all in fondant.

MMF and BC decorations, FBCT windows each with a different Halloween personality. Broomstck and bubbling cauldron are both MMF and BC and the graveyard on the left is MMF and the pumpkin patch on the right is BC. The spiders are all BC hanging from their webs. Its hard to tell but there are 4 pillars and then the cake is square and then there is another 4 inch cake on top , On each of the 5 total pillars there are tea lights to be lit on halloween.

3D ghost made with one layer of Banana Cream Dream cake and three layers of Chocolate Mocha Liqueur cake. BC icing covered in a "sheet" of fondant. Gumpaste chain airbrushed with silver luster dust. Can't see the puple pearl dust accents in this picture, but looked really cool and irredescent with the purple lights! Suspended a bowl with dry ice in the stand for fog around cake. Really spooky looking with all the ambiance at the party. Toughest cake ever to transport without breaking! Thanks for looking.

This cake is made from 4 11x15's and 5 8x8's all in vanilla with vanilla pudding painted in green between layers and covered in vanilla butter-cream and fondant. All decorations made of fondant and all edible except dowels and stick holding the moon, everything else 100% edible, the bottom and middle houses are cake and the very top is all cookie covered in butter-cream and fondant also. This cake was inspired by the Home Interiors Haunted House. The cake was given to all Halloween trick-or-treaters

This is a quick snapshot of my Halloween cake. It would have been a better picture if I would have taken it once I placed it on the glass cake tray. This cake was not perfect but all of my lil' ghost and goblins loved it at the Halloween Party.

This is a cake I did for a friends son who's birthday is around Halloween. The spider was made with the large and mini ball pans. All decorations are BC. Not my greatest work but I thought he turned out pretty cute. Enjoy!

I think I saw something like these in a woman's magazine. Cupcakes are a good chance to practice different piping skills or techniques at once.

Used the Wilton gingerbread haunted house kit to assemble. I didn't eat it - it didn't look to appetizing after all the icing was hard and it was finished.

This cake was obviously made for halloween. I won a dessert competition in Seattle with this. It was a pumpkin spice cake with pumpkin cream cheese frosting covered with fondant and airbrushed. The stem is gum paste.

I made this cake for a friend's birthday. He just turned 27 and is a fan of horror-type films. My husband is the creator of the design, while I baked the cake - 9x13 double layer (one white, one chocolate with bumbleberry jam filling) & almond buttercream icing. I "eye-balled" his design onto the cake and then decorated it (in less than two days, I might add- and that includes the baking!).

I made this cake for a Halloween themed birthday party. I used a coloring book page for the design on the top cake, then placed it on top of another sheet cake to make two layers.

I did this one last year for my cake decorating class. The pumpkins and tombstones are made of marzipan. I'm still new to decorating, and know it could be smoother, but hope you like it.

20" long and about 8" at the widest and 4" tall (I have a scale template and if anyone would like it, please pm me). Red velvet inside, of course :) Fondant with royal piping, the pumpkins are RKT inside, and the dirt is oreo crumbs. Yes this was a GROOM'S cake!

My four year old son and I just completed this kit house. We altered the box design. He told me what to do, and I did it (just like a good mom should). He wanted sprinkle grass, a path, a pumpkin on the door (just like our house, an M for his name, a giant bat on the roof, and a giant spider web on the other side complete with a gumdrop spider. Not the best work ever, but a blast to do with my son. I highly reccommend the $7.50 fun experience!
