I did this cake for a "pinic game" under the lights. Everyone had a great time during the pinic waiting for the sun to go down and then played a great game of softball under the lights.

I did this cake for my daughter's end of the season team party. Our two-year-old loves cake and had attacked one shoulder before I got home from work, so I had to do a very quick repair. I still think that it turned out well and everyone loved the cake.

I made this for a little girl who's birthday always falls during our Little League season. I made a t-shirt that looked like her team's shirt, with her number on it.

This cake was for twins. One plays baseball and one plays softball. The balls are sugar cookies and the letters were candy that were slightly propped up to look like they were growing out of the grass.

all white cake, buttercream icing, fondant deco. edible markers were used to decorate girl along with some hand painting. first decoration done like this. cut out completely with pearing knife. made for my daughters softball league. 66 girls in her league all seemed to have loved it. the fondant just doesn't have a very good taste after having the buttercream icing, try to make sure i tell anyone now you can eat it but it really doesn't taste that

My sister plays volleyball, softball, and basketball and wanted a cake that incorporated all of her activities. The cake is a vanilla butter cake with BC icing and fondant accents. The "pearls" around the bottom of the top tier are volleyballs and softballs.

This is what the customer ordered...hmmm...white cake with french vanilla mousse filling on 1/2 sheet covered in BC, ball is yellow cake with french vanilla mousse covered in BC, and bat is single layer chocolate. Candies on outside are poured milk chocolate molds. I don't care for this but she drew it and I made it.

I used a Tupperware container that was the size I wanted for the softball, and gently pressed it into the icing for my pattern. I free-handed the rest! Our team of girls loved the cake!

The fired dept. recently lost one of their own who loved to play softball and were retiring his uniform. I got the idea for this cake by searching and copying pics in this web site. The grahamn craker infield was great. Thank you to all who's pics I borrowed from. The family loved it.

I used the Betty Crocker Bake N' Fill kit. Used vanilla cake with vanilla ice cream inside and frosted it with whipping cream with a little powdered sugar mixed in to thicken it up.

This cake is my representation of a similar cake. A co-worker wanted a cake for her daughter's birthday and she was including the entire softball team. She saw this one and thought it would be perfect. I cannot remember the name of the poster, however, "Thank you" for sharing your photo and inspiring others. The girls loved it!

I made this cake for some friends that are twins whose birthday is tomorrow. They both coach softball and they both bowl so that is what the 3rd and 4th “peas” are. I am really happy with how the pea pod came out, I have been wanting to try one for awhile but they are the only twins I know! Sorry the picture is a little fuzzy. Not sure what happened. Thanks for looking!

this is for a girl who is a tomboy and plays a lot of sports. Her mom wanted something girly and she wanted something with sports so I added the balls on the top to reflect the sports she plays (basketball, softball and bowling). Purple and gold are her school colors and what she wanted. The balls didn't dry very well so they were a little squished but she still liked it. All fondant and/or gumpaste
