This was a special request for a tye dyed smiley face cake. My niece loved it and the cute candles that I found to match it! This is my first attempt at a tye dye effect.

This is my first cake using MMF. I made is for my girlfriends daughter's 14th birthday. She was really surprised to see that and not a regular cake. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Candy melts smiley face and letters. Made smiley face by pouring candy on a dessert plate covered with either plastic wrap or wax paper? one of quick solution to get round shape...knew it was risky. It cracked when removed which is why balloon strand is covering part of face.

The groom was all smiles with this one. (It goes with "Wedding Cake Blues). Chocolate cake iced in buttercream. The mini smiley's and mini wedding couple are royal icing. The tiny bouquet is royal icing and matches the brides bouquet. Lots of fun!

The inside of this cake is tie-dye also! The smiley on top is a rice krispie treat. The tie-dye patterns are icing transfers. This cake was so fun to make!!!

A friend was graduating from college so I made him this. White cake frosted with buttercream. First time I'd done something like the tassel and I was especially proud that it came out so nice. :-D

Those Wilton Smiley face candles are so much fun to work with...except when one of their little heads falls off during delivery! This was for a friend's one year old party ~ lemon cake with bc icing. Another version of "Kicking Up Their Heels" in the 2005 Wilton yearbook.

70th Birthday for my father-in-law who works at Walmart. I told him I invited all his Walmart friends (the Smiley faces). Cake is double layer yellow on top with peach filling and buttercream icing / double layer chocolate on bottom with raspberry filling and buttercream icing. Smiley lollipops are made of colored chocolate disks melted and formed in a mold.

I did these cookies for someone at my sisters job who was ill. They wanted me to do something like the smiley face cookies you can buy at Busken Bakery, but I didn't want her to just smile I wanted her to laugh so I came up with these. Cookies are No-Fail Sugar Cookies with MMF and Royal Icing.

Okay...I just loved how this cookie turned out. I thought it was cute! The actual decorating could have been better but the expression was what I thought to be cute! Thanks for looking!

I made this fun cake for my son's birthday. The smiley face was made with the ball pan. I wanted to use rice krispies for the hat but to my dismay, my children had ate the cereal. Yikes! So since time was ticking away I just softened up some marshmallow a little bit and squished and cut them into a birthday hat kind of shape. It worked alright.

Thank you cakegurl06 for the idea and for sending me the pic of the smiley faces! Mine isn't as good as hers, but I still love the idea. This was my first time working with fondant, I made MMF. It was too stiff, but when I microwaved it, it got sticky again. I also had problems with my icing bag tip (actually, I just used a parchment triange with no tip) so the faces and my writing is shaky.

Yellow smiley ice cream cake. The wedding theme was winter wonderland. The wedding cake is included in my photos. The grooms nick-name is Happy, so this was a very fitting cake for him.

A friend's sister-in-law has battled cancer of and on for three years and was recently hospitalized. There is nothing medically that can be done except supportive measures and pain control. She is now home with hospice support. This is a very difficult time for the three children Alex age 11, Joey 9 and Kirah 4. So I made these cupcakes for the children hoping to give them some little something to smile about.

I made this for my daughter because she requested a surprise when she got home from school. Such an economical and fun gift idea!! I knew she wouldn't be disappointed with this happy little chocolate cake with her favorite buttercream icing. She wasn't!

I made these to raise money for the PTO's new playground fund at my daughter's elementary school. They were sold at Family Fun Night. I wasn't thrilled with how these came out. I think I needed to use a larger tip for the white outline to get the look I really wanted. NFSC and Chocolate Rol-Out Cookie with Anotonia74's icing.
